Currently our selection of flat tow wiring kits only have 7-way or 4-way RV connections. If you already have your baseplate, and tow bar the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 will allow you change out the 7-Way Connector # A7WCB for a 6-Pin Connector # PK11604. Then you will have a 6-pin connector on both sides of the removable harness.
Then you will only need the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to maintain your battery.

Selecting the proper hitch ball has more to do with the trailer coupler and gross weight of the trailer than the trailer hitch installed on your vehicle. The coupler ball size will be stamped into the coupler somewhere, usually on the top. With the 3593 draw bar a short shank ball with a 3/4 inch diameter shank is recommended. If you plan on towing a trailer then wiring and a ball mount would be necessary as well. For the wiring you'll need the Tekonsha T-One Wire Harness # 118460. For the ball mount you'll need to know the ball size for the coupler (1-7/8, 2", 2-5/16") and how much of a rise or drop is needed. I have a solution for you but the Thule Rapid Traverse foot # 7522249001 you've got mounts to the vehicle with vehicle specific fit kit pieces; it looks like the fit kit is damaged and there is not a fit kit for the 2003 Toyota Matrix since it has raised side rails. The good news is that you can continue to use the Thule Aero style bars you got but you will need different feet.

The draw bar or ball mount recommended for Curt trailer hitch # C12013 is ball mount # C45521. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19257 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. Then for a pin and clip use # F-4.

I'd be happy to help you with that. You'll need a tow bar, base plates, safety cables, a taillight wiring harness, a supplemental braking sytem and possibly a high/low adapter.
For a tow bar, I'd recommend the Blue Ox Alpha 2, part # BX7380. The tow bar self aligns and the arms will lock into place without binding up as you drive away. No need to have the vehicle perfectly lined up behind the motorhome. Safety cables are included with the tow bar.
