I have called Curt in the past and they say there should be no issue at all using the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 with the Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass part # 20142. The Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass only affects the stop/turn signal circuits and the Curt Echo only affects the brake output and 12 volt power circuit. There is a solution for you, although in regard to a manual crank A-frame jack, the handles are all going to be in front like the jack # TJA-5000S-B you referenced or will be a top wind crank.
Since you have clearance issues with those jacks the best option is going to be an electric jack.

Currently the only trailer hitch that we have available for your 2010 Mercedes-Benz ML350 BlueTEC is the Class III Curt Trailer Hitch # C13102. This trailer hitch is rated for up to 3,500 lbs towing and 350 lbs tongue weight so you need to make sure that you don't exceed these ratings.

Bearing protectors such as Bearing Buddies # BB2047 cannot be used with EZ Lube axles. The issue is the zerk fittings at the ends of the spindles prohibit installation. The Bearing Buddies are not deep enough to account for the zerk fitting. Since you have EZ Lube axles you would not need this type of cap.

You want the loaded tongue weight to fall in the center of the range that the weight distribution system spring bars are rated for.
