I contacted our representative at Redline about Ramp Spring, part # RS16933LH. He informed me that the overall length of the spring is approximately 10-1/2 Inches and the width of the spring is 3-3/4 Inches. The measurement from each ear to center of spring is about 5-1/4 Inches, and the spring is made to fit over 1-1/2 Inch bar. The metal rod that forms the spring is just under 1/2 Inch in diameter. The only available trailer hitch for a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta Sedan TDI is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11410 which is rated at 200 lbs tongue weight and 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight. I went out to our demo area to take the overall measurements of the Saris SuperClamp bike rack # SA4025F when folded up.
Side to side it measure approximately 48 inches.
Front to back it measures approximately 30 inches.
From the bottom of the shank to the top of the folded arms it measures approximately 15 inches.

Thule measures the height you are looking for but they measure from the center of the shank. On the Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR that distance is 33-3/4 inches. So from the top of the 2 inch portion of the shank it would be 32-3/4 inches. Other hanging racks will be in the same neighborhood. Generally speaking, a platform bike rack such as # C18087, is considered easier to load compared to hanging bike racks.
