The Curt Class I hitches, like the # C11499 which is a fit for your 2009 G37 do include the caveat in the installation instructions that a stabilizing strap is required in order to maintain warranty coverage. The warranty stipulates that a stabilizing strap like part # 18050 should be used for all non-trailer loads like bike racks or cargo trays. One end of the strap would loop around the hitch accessory, the hooked end would attach to the vehicle using the edge of the trunk lid or hatch.

There is some trimming required on the 2010 Infiniti G37 coupe to install Curt trailer hitch # C11493. There is an area approximately 1-3/4 inches by 2 inches that will need to be trimmed off the bumper fascia. I have included a picture that shows the hitch installed on a vehicle and the area that gets trimmed.
If you plan on doing some towing first check the vehicle owners manual for its capacities. The recommended ball mount is # C45521 and use # F-4 for the pin and cip. For a 1-7/8... view full answer...
I spoke with one of my contacts at Curt Manufacturing, and was told that cutting the access slot behind the license plate would be sufficient. It is an either/or type of proposition. Some are not comfortable with the idea of cutting holes in the bumper cover even though those holes are concealed by the license plate, which is why the option of removing the bumper cover is available. view full answer...

I reached out to my contact at Curt and he said you need to have that Bumper Fascia Spacer back in place when you install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11499 on your 2013 Infiniti G37.
If you open it back up feel free to shoot me some photos of what the issue is and I can see if I can provide any assistance. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Curt. There have been only 2 or 3 cases where customers with the same vehicle have found that the plate in question is welded on. Infiniti seems to have welded only some models but not all.
The solution that other customers have come up with is to use a pry bar to push that panel back and forth to break the welds.
Another option would be to cut the welds but you would likely not be able to get a tool in there to do so. I wish there was a more definitive answer,... view full answer...
You are correct, the Draw-Tite #24831 and Hidden Hitch #60221 (no longer available) hitches are also identical as far as the fit on the vehicle, and they made by the same manufacturer. I have provided a link to installation instructions for you to review.
When trimming the rear fascia, you will need to trim a rectangle that is 2 inches by 3-1/4 inches, at the center of the rear fascia. I have provided a diagram that shows the cut dimensions for installation of these hitches on the 2011 G37. view full answer...
Two 3/4 inch holes will need to be drilled in the bumper cover to access the bolts in the fascia support. These holes will be hidden by the license plate.
The hitch bolts to the aluminum bumper, not the frame. The lower bumper fascia will need to be trimmed to allow the receiver to pass through it as well. This is explained in the installation instructions that I have linked to below. view full answer...
The Bully Round Exhaust Tip part # PM-5104 has a resonated body which will provide a slightly more "crackly" sounding exhaust for your 2011 Infiniti G37 but will not exactly make it any noticeably louder. As long as your exhaust piping is between 1-3/4" to 2-1/2" in diameter then the above exhaust tip will work well for you.
To really get the greatest sound output out of your 2011 Infiniti G37 with the 3.7L V6 engine you will want to install a MagnaFlow Exhaust System like part # MF16820.... view full answer...
