Your 2013 Audi A6 has trailer wiring circuits that are combined what use pulse width modulation on the same wire.
So according to Tekonsha when you install the # 119250KIT you need to attach the yellow wire of the kit to the brake/tail/left turn wire on the vehicle and the green to the brake/tail/right turn wire. The brown and red wires of the kit are not used. view full answer...
I do have an option for you but the electrical system on your 2014 Audi A6 is very complex and I would not be able to help you fool it so if that is the goal then you would need to take the vehicle to the dealer and see what advice they have to offer.
