If space allows, the best location to install the cooler would be directly in front of the radiator, just behind the vehicle grill. The cooler mounts using included zip straps. The correct way to wire this up would be to use the Taillight Converter, part # 119178KIT. Wire this converter into the tail light circuits on the tow vehicle. The inputs would be wired into each lighting circuit, running lights, right turn, left turn, and brake lights. The converter includes a tester, which will make the installation easier.
