  • Installing Aftermarket Spoiler Brake Light To Brake Light Wire On 2008 Mazda 6
  • The Replacement Brake Control Plug-In Harness for Tekonsha and Draw-Tite Brake Controller 12" Long # 20127 is not a fit for your 3rd brake light on your 2008 Mazda 6. To power your aftermarket spoiler, you only need to tap into the power signal of that stop light wire and then add a ground wire if the ground isn't already in the spoiler mounting. I recommend using # 16-1-1 wire sold by the foot and Quick Splice Connector # SWC501925-1. You can use circuit tester # PTW2993 to determine...

  • Does Bigger Trailer Mean Faster Speed
  • Trailer tires are only rated to go 65 miles per hour unless indicated. Trailer tires are built with a thicker sidewall, to handle vertical loads, that get hot enough to fail when you exceed 65 miles per hour.

  • Where to Connect the Wires On a 2007 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon
  • Wiring the Mazda 6 sport Wagon for a 4-Way trailer connection is pretty easy. We do not have a specific wiring diagram for the Mazda 6 Sport Wagon but the only directions that would be different is how to get to the tail light wiring behind the tail lights. All I can tell you at this time is that you will need to figure out how the tail lights are installed and remove them or access their wiring somehow. Many times this requires removing interior panels on each side of the vehicle. Once...

  • Are Trailer Tires Already Balanced on the Wheels on the Tire and Wheel Combinations?
  • Trailer tires do not have to be balanced due to the fact that you won't be able to feel the imbalance in the vehicle. Every tire and every wheel has a high (heavy) spot and a low (light) spot. When the manufacturers mount the tires on the wheels, they try to offset the tire high spot and the wheel high spot to provide some balance. You can take them to a tire shop and have them balanced if you want them to be balanced, but they do not need to be balanced to be used on your trailer. Many...

  • Installation of Replacement Hold Fast Cradle 7521513002 on Thule Archway 3 Trunk Bike Rack TH9010XT
  • Thule Replacement Hold Fast Cradle # 7521513002 will install on your Archway 3 trunk-mount bike rack exactly as you describe. I do recommend using stainless steel hardware to replace the rivet. Most full-service hardware stores usually have a decent selection of stainless and sometimes galvanized hardware. You could use either but I would go for the stainless if it is available.

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Hitch Slightly Too Short to Fit 2016 Mazda 6
  • It sounds like the brackets on the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11356 got bent ever so slightly during the shipping process, which is a common occurrence and fixable. What you can do is flex the bracket back into position so the bolt holes line up, and this can be accomplished a number of ways, as outlined in the help article that I linked for you. You can use something like a table vise if available or just use a piece of wood or anything that will allow you to put pressure on the bracket...

  • Tips for Installing Curt 1-1/4 Trailer Hitch C11329 on a 2007 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon
  • You should be able to just pop out the two rubber plugs in the trunk pan of your 2007 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon, using a flat head screwdriver or trim removal tool. The Curt model # C11329 does not require you to lower your exhaust to complete the installation, as the entire hitch assembly runs along the center of the vehicle, between the exhaust. Once you have popped out the two plugs, move straight back from these holes, staying in the center of the vehicle. Once you reach the inner bumper...

  • I'll try to answer all of these in order for you here. • Installation of WeatherTech All-Weather Floor Mats # WTW71 in 2013 Mazda 6
  • The WeatherTech All-Weather Floor Mats # WTW71 you referenced for your 2013 Mazda 6 are semi-custom floor mats, meaning while they are not custom-made specifically for your vehicle, they are made to fit cars that are similarly designed. As such, in most cases there should be no need to trim these mats to fit in the front floorboards of your vehicle. I have included a link to the instructions for the proper installation of this product. If you would like floor mats that are custom made...

  • Unable To Locate Access Holes In Frame Rail On 2016 Mazda 6 When Installing Trailer Hitch
  • I called my contact at Curt about your 2016 Mazda 6. They told me that they have not seen the Mazda 6 without the access holes used when installing the # C11356 hitch. They did say that some of the manufacturers have inserted plugs into the holes or placed tape over the hole and painted it when they painted the frame rails. You might want to check to see if there is an open end on the frame rail you can access. This would mean you need to extend the fishwire to reach that distance....
