The smallest wheel center pilot bore we have for a 4.80-12 trailer tire is going to be 2.84". Here is a list of the wheel and tire packages we have with that measurement. Do understand all these wheels are designed to be lug centric so they do not have to be the same size as the hub center.

Hey Jeff,
The reason the selection seems limited is because you have passenger tires on your boat trailer as there aren't 195/55R15 sized trailer tires. So there isn't a trailer tire and wheel you can get that's going to be the same size. A 195/55R15 tire measures 23.4" in diameter and 7.7" wide, and the closest size to that in a trailer tire is a 24" diameter, 6.9" wide, ST175/80R13 size tire.
So you can go with that for a spare in a pinch, or replace all your tires and wheels with that... view full answer...
Hey Wayne, I did some looking around and it does not look like we carry any Endurance tires in the size you're looking for. We do have the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R15 Radial Tire # LH53FR which will work with a ST205/75R15 tire but it's also not galvanized.
Instead, I'd recommend checking out the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Galvanized Wheel # AM3S450 which does have a galvanized wheel, will work as a direct replacement since it's the same size you're looking for,... view full answer...
Hi David; we do have a 215-75/14 trailer tire and black wheel, but not that come as a combo, you would have to get the tire mounted to the wheel. If that's okay, here are the part numbers:
- Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10229
- Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20315
This is a load range C tire with a 1,870 lb capacity, and the wheel has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. That's the most common bolt pattern, but if you aren't sure what yours is I have linked a help article... view full answer...
Yes, you can! So long as our Kenda Loadstar 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel item # AM30820 is the same size and bolt pattern as what's on your Ironton trailer it can be used not only as a spare but also on your trailer with the stock tires.
The Kenda item # AM30820 has a 12" diameter x 4" wide wheel with a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2". The tire is a 5.30-12, with a section width of 5.6", and an outer diameter of 21.9". view full answer...
Nope, we don't have any way of knowing any trailer's wheel lug pattern, or any specific part on trailers because trailer manufacturers simply don't have that info available. It's pretty easy to find though, and you can either measure via the help article I linked below or use the printable template I've linked below.
That said, I would be very surprised if your 215/75-14 tire and wheel had anything other than a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, as that's by far the most common. If you did have... view full answer...
Hey Larry,
For that tire size and trailer capacity I recommend the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range B # AM30090 or # AM30080 for a white wheel. These have a 715lb capacity when aired up to 50psi. view full answer...
Hi Nick,
I'm not aware of a 4-bolt to 5-bolt adapter, and honestly, I'd just go ahead and change the tires instead of trying to reconfigure something. You'll just need to know the wheel diameter, width, and capacity you need for the right tire.
For example if your wheel is 15" x 5", 15" x 5-1/2", 15" x 6", or 15" x 6-1/2" and you needed a tire with a capacity of at least 1,700 lbs you could go with the Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10244.
I have added a link below to our... view full answer...
Hey Marc,
I appreciate that info, and a 2-5/8" center to center measurement of adjacent bolt holes means you have a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. And I'm not sure what size tires or wheels you have but I'm guessing 12 inch wheels. So you'll want to know the exact tire size to ensure you get the right ones (that info will be on the tire's sidewall) For example if you have 145/12 tires a good option is the 1,220 lb per-tire capacity Kenda Karrier & 12" Wheel # AM31202.

Hi Ryan,
Really good question, but with a tandem axle trailer, the load rating remains 2,150 lbs at 65 psi for the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R15 Radial Tire w/ 15" Silver Modular Wheel # LH53FR.
The 107/102 load index is actually referring to a dual wheel, or dually, application (think large, 1-ton pickups) as opposed to a tandem axle application. Dual wheels are pretty rare on trailers but it is common for all tires to have a lesser capacity with dual wheel set-ups (though I can't tell... view full answer...
Hey Mark, thanks for the question and we do have an option for you, though not the exact LT245/75R16 M+S Radial XTX. Reason for that is those are light truck tires and not trailer tires (light truck tires will have an "LT" before the tire size and trailer tires have an "ST" before the size).
That said, we have a very close option in size, with a ST235/80R16 trailer tire. These are 30.8" in diameter and 9.25" wide, so they will only add about 1/8" of height at the top of the tire and are... view full answer...
Hey Jonathan, so the smallest trailer wheel/tire size that has a 3,000 lb weight capacity per tire would be the size 235/80-16 like with the # LHACK133. view full answer...
You'd be going to a smaller tire setup that's going to have a lower weight capacity so I don't think it would be ideal of a solution as getting a wheel and tire in your current tire size and load range like the part # AM3S560. view full answer...
Hey Nick, the Trimax Trailer Wheel Chock and Lock # TMX75FR you're looking at will work with your 175/80r13 trailer tires. This lock has measures 6" wide when closed and 10 1/2" when opened all the way, so with your tires measuring 6.9" wide this'll work fine. view full answer...
The only size wheels we have with a 5 on 4-3/4 inch bolt pattern is the 15 inch wheel size like with the part # KE79JR which has the tire size ST205/75R15 mounted on it. view full answer...
You're welcome! The lightest weight wheel tire combo with a ST235/75R15 tire is the Taskmaster ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Tire w/ 15" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel item # TA75RR which weighs in at 55 lbs. view full answer...
You are going to have to take some clearance measurements with your 145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire # AM35354 to determine if the larger Kenda Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Black Mod Wheel # AM31990 is going to fit. The 175/80-13 is 2.8" taller and 1.3" wider. For vertical clearance we like to see at least 3" for the suspension to travel so with the height difference you will want to see at least 4.4" with your current tires. Remember to check the vertical clearance around... view full answer...
The Aluminum Bearcat Trailer Wheel # 274-000039 is currently the only size we carry in a 16" diameter. This is the Gunmetal gray color and has an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern. It is also the correct width for a ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWTRTM2358016E. As Lionshead is discontinuing a lot of their aluminum wheels you may only be able to find one in black used. view full answer...
Hey Allen, this is a good question but the good news is that if you were to drastically change the ply rating of your tires it's not going to significantly affect the suspension/wheels of your trailer so you can definitely do so. The ply rating correlates mostly to the weight capacity of the tire.
I believe your tire size is 225/75-15 which the highest ply rating we have in this size is 10 like the part # AM10303. view full answer...
