Hey Carlos,
Yes, installing the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T45MR will affect your ride quality and handling while off-roading in your Tundra. These springs provide a cushion between your frame and axle so that the harsh bumps over rough terrain won't throw you around. Timbrens are well known within the off-roading/overlanding community as the gold standard for suspension enhancement so you're making a solid choice.
Timbren recommends a 1" gap between the axle and spring... view full answer...
Based on the information I could find it appears your 2017 Jayco Jay Flight 195RB with the Baja package would have come with 235/75R15 off road tires. I recommend the Kenda ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tire # KE68JR as the best replacement option. I prefer this tire as it offers the highest speed rating of 99mph and has a 5 year warranty. As trailers typically sit for long periods of time I find the long warranty better protects you as many tires only offer a 1 year warranty. view full answer...
Since the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS34FR only connects to the rear leaf spring on your 2018 Toyota Tundra it will still work with the 2" block you have between the leaf spring and the axle. view full answer...
Hey there Seamus (cool name btw), I think you made a very nice choice with the Bulldog Winch Standard Series Off-Road Winch # BDW36QB.
This is a very good value in regards to price and quality, and is capable of pulling your Ford with a 7k GWR. It even has a wireless remote so you can hop out of your truck if you get stuck and let the winch do its thing. view full answer...
Hey Terry, it sounds like you're looking for the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w Hose # 103615. This tee fitting will get installed in between your trailer's tank and the regulator and provides both a quick disconnect port and a disposable cylinder port so you can connect a 1 lb tank for your Coleman Road Trip. view full answer...
Hey Sam, thanks for reaching out!
The Ark Articulating Off-Road Coupler for 2" Receivers # AR44FR is a great way to add some versatility in where your trailer can be towed, but since everything can move around it does present some challenges when we're looking for coupler locks.
The best option for keeping your trailer (and the Ark coupler) from walking off is for you to use the Stainless Steel Coupler Lock # e98882 to secure the Ark to your trailer, and then the BulletProof Hitches Extreme... view full answer...
Hello James, great question. The Timbren bump stops are known for being super durable. We do not hear any complaints of the material deteriorating over time. A lot of times you will see factory bump stops that start to degrade over time, but the Timbrens are much more durable, and this is not a common issue at all.
That being said, the best thing you can do to prolong the life will be to clean them periodically. Debris and dirt from the road can speed up corrosion. Road salt is also not... view full answer...
Hey Charles,
While we do have a roof rack system for your Wrangler I do want to note that there are no American made options as most of the manufacturers for roof racks are either based in Africa or Europe/Asia. If you're looking to capitalize on space and want to hold a lot of items then Rhino-Rack or Front Runner are going to be the best option with their platform racks.
-The Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack with Gutter Mount Backbone Mounting System - 57" x 59" # RR86XP

Hi Jim; thanks for the question and we can get your 2018 Ford F-150 set up with some rear suspension help since you have quite the load in the bed of your truck. The best way to do so is definitely with air bags as they allow you to customize the exact amount of support you need instead of a static amount like bump stops.
They also won't be as harsh when you aren't taking your truck overlanding as they only have to have 5 psi in them at most. Since you are going off-road I assume you... view full answer...
Hey Brent, so I recommend going with Roadmaster for the majority of your setup. Both brands are great and will ultimately get the job done, but Roadmaster has become a very trusted brand in the industry and has a very good track record which is why I'd recommend them over Blue Ox.
So with that being said, for a set of tow bars I recommend checking out the Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676.
This tow bar has a nice 8K capacity, an integrated LED strip for easy... view full answer...
As long as you did not change the leaf springs then you are going to be able to use the RoadActive Suspension # RAS77VR on your 2021 Ram ProMaster 3500. I do wonder if you have considered using a Weight Distribution Hitch # FA92-00-0600 to connect the trailer. This will help to redistribute some of the trailers tongue weight back onto the front of your ProMaster. view full answer...
You have 2 options for your 25 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness # A25W2GWB when wiring in the Optronics LED Combination Trailer Tail Lights # TLL160RK.
First is the way I recommend since the harness has the full length ground wires is to cut off the eyelet on the tail lights and wire the ground from the tail lights to the harness. Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05744-10 are the best option for a weather tight connection. If you have any side marker lights they will also need connected... view full answer...
I recommend using a Lube Plate # 16721 over covering the Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550043 in Grease # L74FR. The lube plate is much cleaner and you will not have to constantly clean off the dirt and apply new grease over time. view full answer...
I'd be more than happy to help you out, Herb!
A common light kit for boat trailers is the Optronics Fleet LED Trailer Tail Lights w/ Grommets # TLL12RK which measure 6-1/2" long x 2-5/16" tall for the light face and are submersible. It's best to make your wiring connections with something like the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector Kit # DW05744-10 because they seal up the connections better than standard butt connectors.
If these lights don't match the dimensions of what you currently have... view full answer...
Hello Bob, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, the sasquatch package is going to be a major limiting factor for your suspension enhancement option. Currently none of the aftermarket suspension upgrades we offer will fit a 2022 Bronco with the sasquatch package. This is also true for the Wildtrak and Raptor models.
Adding a weight distribution hitch to the trailer would be one way to help level your ride, since there are no options for the vehicle side. If you can tell me the GVWR... view full answer...
Hey Donald, the best Blue Ox weight distribution would be the pat # BXW0550 as it has a perfect tongue weight range for your 450 lb tongue weight trailer. view full answer...
According to the information I could find you will want to measure to verify if you can switch to the larger Taskmaster ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Tire w/ 15" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel # TA85RR. This tire is going to be 5/8" taller and 3/8" wider than the stock 225/75r15 that would have come on a stock 2012 Keystone Springdale 295. You will want to ensure you are still going to have the 1" of sidewall clearance and 3" of suspension travel that is recommended on trailers. Also I could not... view full answer...
Hello Douglas. I see that you ordered the 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector # H20044 from us. On this one the blue wire is for brake power. The yellow wire will be for the center pin and the reverse circuit. view full answer...
Hello Dave, glad to hear you like our videos. Since you will be hauling more of a constant load like a truck bed camper, I definitely recommend going with the Heavy-Duty RAS Kit # RAS3611-YHD. The regular duty kit is recommended for light to medium towing like bumper pull trailers. For heavy duty towing like a fifth wheel or truck bed camper we will always recommend the more heavy-duty option if available. It is just going to give you better results as far as load-leveling and stability.... view full answer...
Hey Jesse, cool name. We do have a potential solution for you, but I am afraid we do not offer any kind of plug-and-play adapter that can be used for this purpose. We do however, make a wiring kit that is essentially made specifically for this application with Item # 5506. This will include all of the additional components you need to run the additional wires for the 7-way and add a brake controller. See the wiring diagram below. That will cover everything except the reverse light function... view full answer...
