Is Bulldog Winch Off-Road Winch Good For Truck With 7,000 lb GVW
Question:
I have a 2016 F150 4x4 Supercab 5.0L V8. The GVWR is 7,050 so I am guessing the curb weight is around 5,000. I would like to be able to use the winch to pull the truck up a minor grade, short hill if it gets stuck in a valley. Do you recommend this model or, if not, can you suggest another?

Hey there Seamus (cool name btw), I think you made a very nice choice with the Bulldog Winch Standard Series Off-Road Winch # BDW36QB.
This is a very good value in regards to price and quality, and is capable of pulling your Ford with a 7k GWR. It even has a wireless remote so you can hop out of your truck if you get stuck and let the winch do its thing.
