Yakima recently made some changes to their round bar roof racks but you can still install a round bar rack on your 2017 Nissan Altima but you will need new feet and fit kit. For that the # Y00408 if you needed new bars, # Y28TR for feet, # Y03536 for bar adapters, and fit kits # Y06137 and # Y06127 and you'd have everything you'd need. view full answer...
As you can see in the photo I assembled from captured images from the install video, the mounting flange of the hitch provides as much heat protection as the heat shield that is removed and discarded. The steel of the hitch mounting flange is much thicker than that of the heat shield.
I checked with my contact in the engineering department at Curt Manufacturing, who assured me that the mounting flange will offer enough heat protection that a fire hazard will not exist. view full answer...
To install Derale transmission cooler # D13503 in your 2008 Nissan Altima with 2.5L inline 4-cylinder engine you will need to identify the send and return lines to and from the factory cooler that is inside the radiator. The Derale transmission cooler will install in the return line, which is the cooler of the two lines, the one that leads back to the transmission from the OEM cooler.
To find this line, start the COLD engine, shift the transmission into drive for 15-seconds and shut it... view full answer...
What that means is that the Malone MicroSport trailer, part # MPG460G, is level when the bottom of the coupler is 18 inches off the ground.
To tow the trailer level you need a ball mount with a rise. Park your Nissan Altima on level ground and measure from the ground the inner top of the receiver hitch. When we installed the Draw-Tite hitch on an Altima we measured 10-1/4 inches. You'll likely be close to this but measure your car so you're sure. Then subtract your measurement from... view full answer...
I went ahead confirmed with my tech at 5 Star manufacturing, and Kat's Heater # KH11412 has a 30mm thread (1.18 inches) that screws right into the engine block on your vehicle 2015 Nissan Altima. If you have a 2.5 liter l4 engine, the location will be on the front right of the block. If you have a 3.5 liter V6, the location where you screw the thread is on the front left of the block.
I went ahead and attached a photo that shows both of these locations. view full answer...
I just went out to our warehouse and installed the Curt Class II Ball Mount # C45015 into the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24796 and it fit perfectly. The Curt is 11-5/8 inches from the hitch pin hole to the hitch ball hole so it will work great for you.
For a 2 inch hitch ball use # 19258 and for a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256. Then for a pin and clip use # F-4. view full answer...
Yes, you would indeed. The Curt # C56339 wiring harness won't function unless that power wire is installed to the positive battery terminal. Obtaining the power directly from the battery makes for a more reliable connection. It also serves to help isolate the vehicle's sophisticated and expensive to repair wiring from any short circuits that could occur in the trailer wiring.
You can see the installation instructions by clicking the provided link. view full answer...
The Draw-Tite Class I Sport Frame Receiver Hitch # 24796 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2018 Nissan Altima. For both this hitch and the Curt model that is also confirmed to fit, the installation process is relatively extensive. Installation will require that two 7/16 inch holes be drilled into the frame on each side of the vehicle (4 holes total). The muffler will also need to be temporarily removed but it will be re-installed once the hitch is in place.

The Weather Tech wind deflector, # WT89159, uses what they call a MagiClip fastener. The screws that you see go through the top of the deflector and into the hole in the clip. Moisture is sealed out with the round washers. The clips are actually contoured to fit your 2012 Nissan Altima and they are kind of S shaped. They fit in the metal lip of the sunroof opening. There is no tape or drilling required. view full answer...
Like the review states, that grommet should be there. Otherwise you will need to continue looking for a place to drill or route the wire underneath the vehicle. We have an informational FAQ I wrote that should help a little. It does not cover any specific vehicles but it does give you options for routing the wire.
It is possible that there are other factory entry points through the firewall. The issue is that the wire bundles going through them may be so tightly packed that getting an... view full answer...
If you do not have a hole in the lower spring seat you will want to mark the hole to be drilled with a center punch in the center of the lower spring seat. Drill a 3/8" hole in the center of the lower spring seat. I have included a link to the installation instructions which will walk you through the process.

All of the trailer hitches for a 2013 Nissan Altima Sedan do require temporary removal of the muffler in order to complete the installation. Yes, you can adjust the air in the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F4105, to decrease the air pressure when you are not towing. These air springs will be the perfect item to assist the rear suspension on your 2006 Nissan Altima when towing and having a fully loaded vehicle. Once the air springs are installed, you can run the air lines to the location of your choice and adjust the air pressure based on the driving situation.
I would recommend that you have your rear suspension... view full answer...
The video you refer to was placed on that product page in error. It refers to a different part number installed on the sedan.
The install would not involve drilling down through the trunk.
The hole closest to the front of the vehicle would need to be enlarged enough so that the block washer and carriage bolt can be fished into the frame member. This hole can be enlarged by drilling a small adjacent hole on either side of the existing hole and using a cold chisel to remove the metal in... view full answer...

Drilling is required to install the Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24801 for the 2013 Nissan Altima Sedan. Since you are leasing the vehicle, I do not recommend making modifications to the vehicle unless the dealer leasing the vehicle determines it is ok to do so. I have linked the instructions that you can show the dealer to help make that decision.

When installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 24796 on a 2011 Nissan Altima, you will still need to temporarily remove that portion of the exhaust as indicated in the instructions. On your 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe, the black wire has to be run directly to the battery to get power.
If you attached to the taillight you would only get power when the taillight is on. The black wire is run directly to the battery to protect the vehicles wiring from any damage, if another power source is used the electrical system would be placed at risk. The yellow fuse wire would be connected inline to the black wire to protect the electrical system from any overload.
