  • I spoke with my contact at Lippert Components and he said that there should be a cam on the side of your steps that allow you to adjust your steps, but the 4" difference that you are seeing is either the result of a bad motor or your gear missing a tooth. Try checking the teeth on your gear to make sure everything looks good. Either way if you could let me know what steps you have I can either help you find what you need.
