First, though, the Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet, part # TH57JV, is a fit for your 2017 Kia Niro. However, it is not compatible with the AeroBlade Edge crossbars. The kit required for those is no longer available.

It not a piece that can be reinstalled because there will not be enough room between the exhaust and the hitch for hitch to fit into place. However, the metal hitch will now act as a heat shield for your exhaust. Unfortunately, the JayLow Kayak Carrier, part # Y04073, will not fit around the Ridgeline Towers, part # Y00145. The inner portion can allow it to go over the tower, but there isn't enough space to secure it with the other bracket. It wouldn't be safe to attempt this.

Unfortunately, with your fenders and rear platform, I do not recommend the Saris SuperClamp HD 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches # SAR44VR because the wheel-mount ratcheting hooks will increase the risk of damage or cracking to your fenders during transport.

The wiring harness fits we have for the 2018 Kia Niro, which include Curt part # C56376 and Tekonsha part # 118749 that you purchased, specifically exclude fitment on the plug-in hybrid version of the car.
