I have a great alternative bike rack for your Lectric 2.0 XP 3-inch fat bike. Unfortunately, with your fenders and rear platform, I do not recommend the Saris SuperClamp HD 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches # SAR44VR because the wheel-mount ratcheting hooks will increase the risk of damage or cracking to your fenders during transport.

With that being said, the safest way to transport your bike via a hitch is by a frame-mount attachment method. For a great alternative, I recommend the Saris Freedom # SA4412B. With the Saris Freedom, you will have the benefit of not having to have a bike frame adapter bar with your Lectric 2.0 (even with your thicker downtubes). This is because the cradles of the Freedom adjust independently on the center mast. I went ahead and attached a photo of a neighbor using the Lectric 2.0 with the Freedom. In addition to the avoidance of the fenders, you will also have the weight capacity you need to travel with the battery removed (which is what we recommend since it will avoid any potential damage to the battery). Since you have 3-inch fat tires, you will need the Fat Tire Adapter Kit for Saris Freedom Bike Racks # SA4419 because the Freedom will only fit tires up to 2.25 inches with the original cradles. For theft-deterrence, I recommend the Hitch Tite Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for Saris Bike Racks # SA3022 and the Saris Cable # SA981.

As far as the parts you need with the Freedom, you will need a 1-1/4 inch hitch or a 2-inch hitch. As long as you have a compatible hitch like the Curt Hitch # C13329, you will have enough bumper clearance when using the Freedom with your 2017 Kia Niro.
