I would usually not tell anyone to have the springs on one side rated higher than the other side, but it does sound like you might need to. Especially with two trailers doing the exact same thing.
If you do decide to go this route, the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e27SR will be rated for a 4,500 pound axle, or 2,000 pounds per spring. However, these will measure 26 inches from eye to eye, so they may be a bit longer than your current ones.

In order to choose the correct replacement or upgraded equalizer for a trailer you must first measure the equalizer you have now and then compare this to the replacement/upgrade. The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers are a great option and will work to reduce road shock as would a shock absorber so they would be a good substitute for this. The Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box, # LC369535, has a distance from bottom of king pin to top of box measuring 19.56" (king pin length approx. 4"). The Trailair Rota-Flex 5th Wheel Pin Box, Lippert 1621, # LC328329 drawing shows measurement of 13.54" from top of kingpin to top of box (king pin length approx. 4") 13.54 plus 4" being 17.54" will provide you an approximate drop of only 2". I wish we had an easier solution but since Atwood no longer makes landing gear they also don't make the landing gear motors any more either. Best solution we have would be an all new landing gear setup that uses the same mounting bracket dimensions as your current landing gear so it would be an easier install. Since you measured the drums and found they are 10 inch that is your best indication what you need as replacement assemblies. Rollers like the part # DL21741 that you referenced can attach to the top of bunk rollers like you have, or if they need to be replaced we also have swivel hangers you can use as well for install with # DL21762.
