If your trailer is so nose high that you can't use a Roadmaster Comfort Ride Suspension system then you shouldn't be towing it as it is currently. There are multiple ways to fix your ride height issue:
Start by adjusting the hitch head height down, while still maintaining a 6" space between the nose of the trailer and the top of the truck bedrails. If this isn't an option then you can look into alternative hitches that have a lower height setting. If you want me to look for some I'd just... view full answer...
Yes, the Solera Screen Room for 20' RV Awning # LC362223 does have a door. We've spoken with Solera about this and they confirmed it does come with a door. It rolls up so you can decide if you want to leave it open or hanging there for a fully enclosed awning area. view full answer...
I have attached for you below the complete dimensions of the Replacement I-Beam Jack Bracket for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 part # LC349975 to the degree that Lippert was willing to share. If you require further dimensions, I'd need to know exactly what that is to see if we are able to obtain these for you. That said, manufacturers typically don't release full CAD for products to prevent design theft so we are also limited in what we can provide. view full answer...
You would have to turn the roller like the # LCV000163285 by hand 14 times before attaching the end of the fabric to the awning rail. If it was already installed you'd have to remove the awning from the rail and wind it before reconnecting it. view full answer...
Hi Alan,
To drop the weight down to something manageable for one person you could switch to the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16120 (116lbs) along with the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch # C29BR (95lbs). The head of the A16 can also be easily removed by pulling the pin locking it to the head assembly, reducing the weight further. To use this with your Turning Point pin box you also need the Curt A-Series Wedge Kit # C16992. view full answer...
I was able to determine your 2022 Grand Design Reflection 28BH with the Dexter 5,200lb axles uses a 26" leaf spring Dexter part number 072-097-02. While we do not carry this exact spring or the same weight capacity you are able to upgrade them to the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e94SR. This is a heavier capacity leaf spring rated to be used on 6,000lb axles. So you will want to replace all 4 of the leaf springs so they do not have an adverse affect on the suspension by having different weight... view full answer...
Your 2018 Grand Design Reflection 150 has a Lippert 1621 style pivoting pin box which is the Sidewinder/Revolution part # RP34FR.
If you wanted to replace that with the 5th Airborne part # RP78FR you mentioned this would be the correct fit. view full answer...
Hey Richard, thanks for reaching out!
You likely have 3,500 lb axles on your boat trailer, and if this is the case you'll need the following parts:
- Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA (1 per axle)
- Hub/Drum Kit # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K (2 per axle)
- 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 (sold by foot - needed to run from coupler to brake assemblies)
- Breakaway Battery Kit # 34-285
- Junction Box # 3430001-JBK
- 7-Way Connector # H20043
You only need the junction box and 7-Way connector if you don't... view full answer...
I do see that the Lippert Ground Control # LC358590 leveling system was an option on the 2019 Grand Design Reflection 150 295RL 5th wheel camper so you will not have any fit issues with the leveling system.
There are some campers that are unable to use a leveling system due to components underneath the trailer but you will not have that on your Reflection.
The SnapPad XTRA Jack Pads # SP54FR4 will secure themselves to the jack giving you a larger 11" pad. This saves you from having to... view full answer...
Hitch extenders like the Brophy # HE06 are not tested for RV use but are also not restricted from that use. As long as you are within the limits of the hitch tongue weight when you reduce the tongue weight by 50% using the extension, you will be good to go. The Brophy # HE06 will reduce the 300 lb factory hitch tongue weight to 150 lbs, so your bike carrier and 2 bikes at 120 lbs will work. You will have more movement due to the adapter so I recommend using a hitch immobilizer like #... view full answer...
What you're saying leads me to believe that the water line running to the toilet may branch off of the hot water line. This is not correct but sadly isn't uncommon. I discovered when remodeling one of the bathrooms in my own home that the builder had the water line for the toilet connected to the hot line instead of the cold.
I recommend tracing those water line from the toilet to make sure that it's not connected to the hot side and calling for hot water every time you use it. This would... view full answer...
The etrailer leaf spring part # e27SR is the correct capacity and length to work on your 2020 Grand Design Reflection 240RL. It having a couple more leaf's would not be an issue at all either. Since the height would be slightly different you would want to replace all of your springs on your trailer.
For a u-bolt kit we have the CE Smith kit part # CE23003 which is for 3 inch diameter axles like you have. view full answer...
I'm really sorry to hear about the mishaps on your brand new trailer! When reading through your descriptions the first thing that comes to my mind is the possibility that there's an exposed wire somewhere along the trailer that's making contact with the frame. This is essentially powering the frame so that when you attach the ground cable it's creating those sparks (which is not normal).
If this isn't the exact cause of everything, there's at least something going on with the factory... view full answer...
Your 2023 Grand Design Reflection 298BH has 3" axles that are either 5,200 lbs or 6,000 lbs capacity. The correct suspension system for it will be the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit item # RM-2460-2570 you were looking at. This system is rated for 5,200 lbs to 7,000 lbs axles.
Sorry to disappoint but the only time this system raises the height of a trailer is when it is installed on a trailer with worn out old suspension components.
I have linked an installation video... view full answer...
The Go Power Solar System # 34282729 is compatible with pre-wired Furrion ports for more reasons beyond pin connections.
The Furrion solar port on your 2020 Grand Design Reflection uses their own special two pin port. They also usually have a fuse limiting the port to 10A so I don't recommend using a panel exceeding 120W. You can double-check this on the Furrion's positive wire connected to the battery. Also, because of this direct wire, its best to use a solar panel with a solar controller... view full answer...

To lift your 2020 Grand Design Reflection 150 260RD 5th Wheel so it's 2" taller I recommend using the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX. This installs using the same frame mounting brackets that you already have - all you're doing is adding an extra piece of material make the mounting brackets "longer" for lack of a better term.
This is a very simple, yet effective, way to increase the height of your trailer to what you're needing! view full answer...
The correct replacement grease seal for your Dexter hub is the Grease Seal # RG06-050. This has been cross referenced and confirmed to be the correct replacement. view full answer...
With the suspension on your 2020 Grand Design Reflection 268BH you would have to weld in some spacers between your current hangers and your frame to get a lift. The Lippert Components Standard Axle Lift Kit you found is only for use on a single axle trailer. We would normally use the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX for a tandem axle trailer but the unique shape of your hangers makes this impossible to accomplish. view full answer...
