Yakima's available roof cargo baskets are the LoadWarrior # Y07070 and MegaWarrior # Y07080. The BasketCase carrier you referenced has been discontinued.
The LoadWarrior and MegaWarrior are designed to sit on top of the crossbars, where the BasketCase sat between the crossbars. Since most roof racks today are getting closer and closer to the vehicle's roof to maintain a low profile, the BasketCase style is not as universal as a cargo basket that sits on top of the crossbars. A great feature... view full answer...
The options for rooftop cargo baskets like the Surco # SPS5084-1101 for your 2003 Ford Excursion will depend on the nature of the roof. Some baskets like this Surco can attach to roof side rails alone and do NOT require that the vehicle have crossbars that run side-to-side. Other cargo baskets like the Yakima MegaWarrior # Y07080-82 do require a full-on roof rack in order to mount.
The linked page will show you all extra-large rooftop cargo baskets from Rhino-Rack, Surco and Yakima. You... view full answer...
I have a solution for you, but there is not an available roof basket like the Thule Canyon # TH859XT that will mount directly to the factory fixed mounting points of a 2018 Audi Q7. If you don't already have factory roof rack crossbars you will need to add them in order to carry a roof basket. If you've already got factory crossbars in those fixed mounting points, both of these racks are designed to fit on most factory crossbars so you can just connect them directly to those.

All of the rooftop metal cargo baskets that we offer can be seen on the link at right. All of these have in common mounting hardware that requires the presence of roof rack crossbars. None of these can directly mount to an aftermarket roof track, like the Yakima # Y01135 that you referenced.
The lowest-profile metal baskets we offer include the Curt # C18115 which is 4-inches deep, but event his basket once mounted on roof crossbars installed on your Jeep TJ, would exceed your 6-inch clearance... view full answer...
The only roof basket cross bars that we carry are made for the Yakima brand roof baskets like the Yakima LoadWarrior # Y07070 or MegaWarrior # Y07080 with the accessory bar # Y8870046. I am sorry to say that we no longer carry the Rola Vortex Basket, so we do not offer any crossbars that can be mounted to it. view full answer...
If your 2015 Dodge Journey has the raised factory side rails you can use one of the rooftop cargo baskets from Surco that mount directly to them without the need for roof cross bars. The linked page will show you several sizes of their lightweight aluminum baskets, such as the 60 x 45-inch # SPS4560-1101 which is a good fit for your car. Both larger and smaller sizes are available.
Keep in mind that these baskets each have a weight rating. This is the capacity for the basket itself but... view full answer...
You are correct that most rooftop cargo baskets, including the Yakima LoadWarrior # Y07070 that you referenced, do require that the host vehicle have either factory or aftermarket roof rack crossbars. However, there are specialty baskets offered by Surco that can mount to a vehicle without crossbars as long as it has raised side rails. All of these baskets feature lightweight aluminum construction and a weight capacity that is limited to that of the host vehicle's roof. All are USA-made.

Many rooftop cargo baskets like the Curt # C18115 require crossbars on the vehicle roof and in the case of this particular basket these bars must be spaced at one of three specific distances and not exceed 3-inches in width or 1-5/8-inches in height.
There are also cargo baskets from other companies like Surco that can mount directly to factory side rails on some cars but on your 2013 Subaru Outback Wagon none of their products are a fit. I confirmed with my contact at Surco. I also checked... view full answer...
Thule does not offer any kayak carrier accessory that can be fitted to their Canyon rooftop cargo basket # TH859XT. I called my most well-seasoned Thule contact and she confirmed no such product is on the drawing board for the future.
In truth, even if such an item was available, it might not be your best option. Since kayak weights vary from the low 30s for smaller sit-on types up to the 140s for well-equipped fishing kayaks the vehicle roof capacity can come into play. The Canyon basket... view full answer...
We do have the Spare Tire Carrier for Yakima Roof Rack Cargo Baskets, # Y07076, and it is made to be used with the LoadWarrior, # Y07070, or MegaWarrior, # Y07080 cargo baskets. I have included a link to the installation details for the Spare Tire Carrier for you. view full answer...
We can help you with rooftop cargo carrier options for your 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon, such as a Rhino-Rack rooftop cargo basket.
Steel cargo basket # RMCB02 will fit on almost any roof rack crossbars, including large factory-installed bars up to 3-1/2-inches wide x 1-1/4-inches tall, so long as their center-to-center spacing is within the range of 25-1/2- to 43-inches. If your Subaru has some type of roof rack bars that meet these specs then this basket will work great for you.

There are no brackets made by Curt to attach driving lights but some driving lights we carry have their own mounting brackets that should work on the cargo basket # C18155 but you would probably need to drill into the basket to attach the lights. There are some large rooftop cargo baskets that can mount to your roof side rails without the need for crossbars. Surco offers their 60 x 50 x 5 inch # SPS5060-1101, which weighs 34 lbs, and the 50 x 45 x 5 inch version # SPS4550-1101, which weighs 32 lbs. I have included a link to our department page for all of our cargo baskets where you can see offerings from ten different brands. Most other roof baskets require crossbars for their installation.

Surco rooftop baskets that mount to the factory siderails on your 2009 Toyota 4Runner are shown on the linked page. The largest of these is their 84 x 50-inch Safari # SPS5084-1101. This kit includes the required mounting adapters.
This basket weighs about 40-lbs so keep that in mind as you are planning your cargo load. The 4Runner's roof capacity must be enough for the weight of the basket itself plus what you load into it. So if your owner's manual says, just for example, that the roof... view full answer...
Your SportRack Roof Rack # SR1010 for your 1998 Honda Civic 4-Door does not have accessory side bars that can be added. In some applications on vehicles with short and/or curved roof lines what is known as a short roof adapter, part # SR1116, is required to properly secure the rack on such vehicles. Your 1998 Civic 4-door does not require this short roof adapter. I have linked an installation video and the written instructions for this rack, for your reference.

The Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Carrier, part # TH859XT, that you have referenced is designed to fit factory cross bars that run from side to side on your 2012 GMC Terrain. This Surco basket offers a 250-lb weight rating but you'll want to check your Jeep manual to confirm the vehicle's own roof weight capacity. The lower of the two will determine your actual load rating. Keep in mind that the... view full answer...
I do have a solution for you, but unfortunately there are no light mounting kits that are made specifically for the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket # RMCB.
Instead I recommend going with the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket # Y07070 which has similar dimensions plus you can add the Light Mounting Brackets Kit # Y07075. This comes with 2 brackets that you can mount lights to. view full answer...
The LoadWarriers will not work, but I have good news. The Thule # TH859XT has a custom lock in the part # TH450400. These metal lock cores replace the plastic locks on the Roof Basket. These locks secure the cover to the hardware that attaches the rack to the crossbars so that the hardware cannot be accessed. These locks deter theft. view full answer...
