We recommend coiled safety cables like the Roadmaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643. With these you can wrap them around the arms of the tow bar and since they're coiled they'll tension themselves and not drag.
I attached a review video for these cables for you to check out as well. view full answer...
I do have the replacement safety cables for the Blue Ox Ascent Non-Binding Tow Bar part # BX4370 but they are only sold in pairs as the Blue Ox 7' Safety Cables part # BX88196. view full answer...
There is not a size requirement for the cable itself on a breakaway system. You can see the cable diameter doesn't need to be very thick on this like # HM20051 because it is only required to pull the plunger from the system to activate the braking. So it needs to have a break strength strong enough to pull the pin (thus stronger than the plastic pin itself), but your safety cables or chains are what keep the trailer from being left behind and they are required to be equal or greater than... view full answer...
To replace the 8K Hybrid safety cables that came with your Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar you'll need the kit # RM-674 which comes with 2 of these cables.
These are the same design as your current setup and they come with a limited lifetime warranty.
Attached is a review video for you to check out. view full answer...
We don't carry the exact replacement cables that are included with the Sterling tow bar. You can use the Blue Ox Safety Cables # BX88197 with your Blue Ox base plate kit. view full answer...

The safety cables I recommend the most are # RM-643. They are coiled but stretch out to 68 inches. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground. If you want to go longer I recommend # RM-653. These are 80 inches long. view full answer...
We definitely have the replacement monitor and cable for your Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-770619N-D.
For the monitor, you will need the Mirror Monitor for Dodge ProMaster Vans 2010 and Newer # RVS-619N-D. This will be a direct replacement. For the cable, we actually have two different lengths available. The # RVS-826N will be 33 feet long and will tend to cover most everything, but if you need more length, we do also have the # RVS-825N that is 66 feet long. Both of these... view full answer...
I may have a solution for you, but I checked with my contact over at Roadmaster and there are unfortunately not different sized clevis hooks on their safety cables like the # RM-655. However, you may be able to use some quick links like the Quick Links - 1/2" Diameter - Qty 2 # 37201345 to allow you to connect to the larger safety chain loops on your 2022 Winnebago Forza; you can then connect your safety chain clevises to the quick link directly. view full answer...

You can trim your current Breakaway Cable # HM20012 and fasten a new loop as long as you ensure it is long enough to not activate the brakes when you are turning your trailer. You will need to ensure that the repair is strong enough and that the remaining portion of the cable is still in good condition.
I recommend replacing the cable with either the Fastway Zip Coiled Trailer Breakaway Cable # FA80-01-2140 or replacing the entire switch with the Fastway Zip Trailer Breakaway Switch with... view full answer...

I do have options for you but just because the trailer has Dexter brakes does not mean it will also have a Dexter breakaway kit. If you want to replace just cable and pin then I will need to know the brand and model of your breakaway kit which can be found on the top of the switch. That said, breakaway kits are universal so it would be easiest to just replace both the switch and cable/pin with the Replacement Breakaway Switch with Cable and Pin part # K71-691. There are only two wires that... view full answer...
It sounds like you may be looking for a replacement breakaway cable/pin for your trailer's emergency breakaway kit, such as one like # 20099. On the linked page you will find all replacement breakaway cables/pins. Choose one from the same maker as your breakaway kit. view full answer...
If the wiring is chewed up on the Monitor # RVS-619P before the Power Harness # RVS-503 you are going to need to replace the Monitor # RVS-619P. The monitor was not designed to be taken apart. And if the wiring shorted out the monitor could have likely been damaged internally to where repairing all the wiring will not fix the monitor. view full answer...
I really like the Roadmaster base plate kits and tow bars as they are loaded with great features and arguably are easier to use than Blue Ox if you go with the Direct Connect setups like the # RM-521453-5.
In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking to flat tow your vehicle. The most popular compatible tow bar is the Falcon All Terain, # RM-522. This has non-binding arms which makes the setup very easy to connect/disconnect.
