Hey Don,
This isn't always the case for every adjustable-fit trailer hitch but Curt does require it with their # 13703. If you don't have a tie-down nearby to connect a strap to then you can use a stud finder to locate studs in the back wall of the RV and bolt on some anchors # 348825. I'd put like three or four anchors to give yourself a bit of adjustability when securing your load and then you can use ratchet straps, cam straps, etc. to wrap around the load and clip onto the anchor d-rings. view full answer...
Hey Kirk, so the freeze sensor of an RV AC unit is designed to be installed in the heat exchanger of the unit. This is the portion that looks like a radiator. view full answer...
Unfortunately no, Don. Since the Kuat Ibex Customizable Overland Truck Bed Rack # KU56ZR uses bed rail clamps to install that would require the truck bed to be open and not covered by anything. view full answer...
I do see that Curt has extended the fit for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11394 to the current 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage. The only modification required is enlarging the access hole to pass the carriage bolt and square hole spacer into the frame. I have included an installation video near the bottom of the page which shows the hole being enlarged near the 6:30 mark of the video.
I recommend installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56223 when you install the receiver.... view full answer...
Hey Sylvester!
Trailer hitches like the etrailer # e98844 for your 2019 Toyota Highlander don't require threadlocker on the bolts but we do call for checking the torque of the hardware periodically just to make sure nothing is coming loose.
I suppose there technically isn't any harm with using threadlocker for the installation, just be sure to run the bolts through the weld nuts prior to applying the threadlocker just so make sure the bolts will install properly. Sometimes there will... view full answer...
Sorry Justin I am a little confused by what you are asking. To start it sounds like your trailer has separate turn signal from brake lights which are likely going to require you to use a 2-Wire to 3-Wire Converter # C56196 to separate the turn signals from the brake lights at the back of your trailer. As far as operating your electric brakes that will require a Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 on your tow vehicle. The trailer brakes are separate from the brake lights on trailers since the... view full answer...
I have included a link near the bottom of the page which will help you find an installer for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12169 on your 2024 Honda CR-V. The link will be near the instructions for the hitch and be sure to verify your correct ZIP code is entered as it could be different.
I do recommend having them install the 4-Way # 118741 wiring when you install the receiver. This will be need should your hitch mounted accessory require Auxiliary Lights # C53201 or you need to connect... view full answer...
I checked with Air Lift and Firestone and neither had any air springs compatible for your 1983 Toyota Sunrader. In searching some forums I do see some had use the Timbren System # TTOR2002 on similar style 1983 Toyota campers. They said it drastically changed their ride quality for the better. Do check out the installation instructions located near the bottom of this page to verify you have as similar design and the location for the jounce spring. view full answer...
Hi John,
I'm sorry you weren't given a set of instructions to go along with your SeeLevel RV Holding Tank Monitor # SE94VR. I've attached a diagram below showing that the White wire will run to your water pump, Red to your 12v power source, Black to your sensor strips as the ground, and Blue to your sensor strips as the positive. To make your connections you can use some 18 gauge wire.
If you have any other questions please let me know and I'd be happy to help. view full answer...
I attached a link to this page that you can use to find a local installer to you for installing base plates and other flat towing components. view full answer...
Since our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e25TR mounts to the rear of the frame behind the bumper impact structure on your 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness it will not require removal/loosening of the heat shields. There is enough room to get to the single bolt hole on each side which sits just above the exhaust hanger without having to remove the exhaust. view full answer...
We haven't had a chance to install the # C31088 on the 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 or similar models yet so we do not have an installation video at this time. The best I can offer are the written instructions which I attached below. The process isn't too extensive with only 6 steps to complete the installation. Trimming of the air dam is required but Curt includes a diagram in the instructions. view full answer...
Hey Dan, yes the Replacement Support Arm Assembly # LC281154 does come assembled and with install instructions. I also attached a link to an install video for it for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out!
You shouldn't have any issues fitting the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25122 on your 1992 Ford F-150, but since we haven't performed this installation yet, I recommend checking out the linked video of this hitch on a 1988 F-250 so you can compare it to what you have.
We don't have insight into what the dual tank system looks like on your truck, and while it may not be necessary to remove your spare tire for the installation, it will... view full answer...
Usually our pictures show all of the hardware that come with the hitch. For some reason the # 31352 pictures only show the two bolts, nuts, and spacers. You actually get six of each as listed in the instructions which I have attached below. You do not need to supply your own bolts for installation. view full answer...
Hey Robert,
The Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-606 mounts to the stake pockets in the bedrails. If your Titan doesn't have stake pockets then it will just require some drilling in order to install. view full answer...

Thanks for your continued support Michael! I drive out to Kansas a few times a year myself and I definitely know the drive you're talking about.
Your Thule Quest TH846 was actually replaced by the Thule Outbound Rooftop Cargo Bag # TH868 and they install the same way. They have the front and rear straps for crossbars, but Thule also points out that the side anchoring rings can be used if the only anchoring option for your vehicle is the side rails (see attached clip of instructions).

The Hellwig Adjustable Big Wig Rear Anti-Sway Bar # HE94FR is only going to leave a few inches between it and the spare tire, as you can see in the attached picture. Depending on how far forward you have the tire it could potentially interfere with the sway bar. You might end up having to loosen the spare tire and then angle it so that it's leaning more on the trailer hitch and then retract it until it's tight. It won't sit flat or retract as high but you'll be able to have both components... view full answer...
