Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at these Hellwig EZ-990 Helper Springs. Now, these helper springs have been designed to fit your 2019 to 2023 Ford Rangers, and on custom fit parts, such as these springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Just insert the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, these custom helper springs have a load leveling capacity of 2,000 pounds, and they're gonna upgrade your factory leaf springs installing above your Ranger's rear factory leaf springs to help reduce sway and body roll while preventing sagging when towing or hauling loads.
And they're going to help extend the life of your factory suspension, tires, and brakes. And these springs are going to flex with your leaf springs to help limit bouncing while providing optimal stability. Now, these U-bolts that you see here on the sides, they're gonna be able to be adjusted to suit different loads. The driver's and the passenger's sides can be adjusted independently for uneven loads. And these springs are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction, which is going to ensure long-lasting performance.
And they feature a silver vein hammer tone powder coat finish that's going to help resist corrosion. So again, this is going to be a bolt-on installation above your Ranger's rear factory leaf springs. The step bracket style leaves avoid contact with factory hardware. Of course, the mounting hardware is included and I tried to kind of loosely assemble it the way that this is going to be positioned when you have these installed. Instructions are also included to guide you through that installation process.
I do wanna point out that if you do have composite or plastic leaf springs, you don't wanna install these Hellwig helper springs on your vehicle because it could damage those composite or plastic leaf springs. So again, you don't want to install these helper springs on vehicles with composite or plastic leaf springs. Again, the weight capacity is 2,000 pounds. However, Hellwig helper springs do not actually increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. And these do have a lifetime warranty from Hellwig.
Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
