Today we're going to take a look at the Peterson 7" Sealed Beam to LED Headlight Conversion Kit. Now this conversion kit will let you replace your vehicle's 7" round sealed beam headlight with an LED lamp. This light will act as a direct replacement for most OEM headlamps and the LEDs are super efficient, ultra-bright and long lasting. They do have a low beam and high beam functions built in. It's a low, wide flood beam which will cover more of the road, and integrated reflectors on the inside push the light on to a distance. It's UV, impact resistant, polycarbonate lens, all in an aluminum housing.If you notice on the back it's a standard H4 electrical connection.
Now, it may require an anti-flicker harness to prevent flickering bulbs, or a delay when switching between low beams and high beams, and we do sell those anti-flickering harnesses separately on our website, it's part number 701-491. This light is DOT, Department of Transportation, compliant. Does meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 108, and Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 requirements for automotive lighting. This light is made in the USA.Does have two diodes, input voltage is 9v - 32v DC, wattage is 17-22 watts. The color temperature of the light is 5,400K - 6,000K, and the light output on the high beam is 1,650 lumens, low beam is 1,100 lumens.
And last thing, I just want to give you the measurements. The diameter again edge to edge is 7", and the total depth is going to be right at 4" deep. But that should do it for the review on the Peterson 7" Sealed Beam to LED Headlight Conversion Kit.
