Ellen : Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a look at the replacement bulbs for your fog lights. These are a P13W style bulbs. So they're just going to be a plug and play application, no cutting or splicing required. And they're typically going to be an upgrade from what comes in your vehicle to start with. So let's take a look at these bulbs and see if they're going to be the right fit for you. The nice thing about these is that they are LEDs so they're going to be really long lasting.

And they also have precision optics to help throw that light farther than you typically have and have also zero glare. It's a nice cool white colors that helps to promote visibility. I'm going to hook these up to power so you can see that color for yourself. So again, this is not how you would install it on your vehicle.It's just going to plug right into your factory wiring, but nice bright light. Turn my lights out in the studio and you can see that that's a nice, cool white color.

So it kind of similar to daylight color should be a really nice addition to your vehicle. And again, be an improvement over what usually comes standard in your vehicle. Now, some applications might need to have an anti flicker harness. If your vehicle is canvas or PWM equipped, you may need to pick up the harness. You see there on the screen, you can either get that separately, so if you're not sure if you need it and you only want to pick it up later, you can buy it separately or you can get the bulbs and the harness as a kit.

Sometimes the kit can be a little bit less expensive so it's just kind of up to you on how you want to get that if you need it.Easiest way to figure out if you do need it is either look in your owner's manual or use our fit guide here at etrailer.com put in your year, make and model, and then go from there. So as far as the housing for the lights, you can see all these fins here around the base that helps to dissipate the heat out, so there's no worries about overheating and then premature failure from that buildup of heat. It comes with the two bulbs, instructions and a fun sticker, which I am always a sucker for stickers so that's always cool to me. As far as the specs, it is IP67 rated, which means it's impervious to dust and it's also weatherproof so no worries about any water getting in there and causing any issues. The raw lumen output per bulb is 3000 lumens.

The effective lumen output is 1,995, so just under 2000 lumens.That's really more the number two pay attention to since that's more the real world application, what you can actually expect to get out of these lights. The raw lumens is more of perfect conditions, perfect world, it has a potential of being up to that. After about 30 minutes that does drop down to about 1,550 lumens. So that would be the stable lumen output, which is still going to be plenty for lighting up the night for us. Color temperature is 6,500 Kelvin, which again is that cool white similar to daylight color. The wattage per bulb is 16.5 watts, power draw at 13 volts is 1.3 amps per bulb. The operating voltage is between 7.5 volts and 16 volts. It does come with a two year limited warranty and that's about all there is to it for our look at the replacement bulbs for your fog lights.
