Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Extreme Series H11 LED headlight bulbs. These are going to allow you to upgrade from your factory halogen single beam headlights, to increase your visibility and your range. These are going to be great for your off-road and rural road conditions. They're also ideal for your high beam headlights.

They are not recommended for your fog lights. You can see we're going to get two of these bulbs. Each bulb is going to have a raw lumens output of 5,000 lumens, that is the max the bulb is capable of. Of course, when you actually have it installed, you're not going to be getting that full lumens. Some of it's going to be reflected off the back.

Some of it's going to be lost in the lens. So your effective lumens after considering all those factors, it's going to be 4,565 lumens, which is obviously still quite a lot, so it's going to be very bright.After about 30 minutes of usage, it's going to drop down to your stable lumens of about 4,033. So still about five times brighter than your standard or stock halogen bulb. It's also going to be brighter than your 35 watt HID system. So very, very bright bulbs.

The precision optics are designed for a nice long range visibility and zero glare. I do want to get these hooked up so you can see for yourself just how bright these are. The plugs are labeled with a positive and negative. So when you're plugging this in you do want to make sure that you are hooked up correctly. So I'm going to get these hooked up to power source real fast, show you just how bright they really are.Turn off the lights in the studio here.

You can see, these are very, very bright light. It hurts to even look at them. So they're going to do a good job of providing light for you. If you listen, you can kind of hear that fan running. That fan is going to help to disperse the heat from that LED. That's the vac pipe cooling technology that's going to reduce the heat three times more efficiently than your conventional heat sink design. That fan is that turbo cool dual bearing fan that helps remove that excess heat with minimal noise. It's not very loud, but you can hear it running while I have it plugged in. And you can see with the light on it is that nice, cool white color. It's about 6,500 Kelvin. So it's going to be a very noticeable light as we're driving down the road, it's going to help promote driver awareness both for ourselves and for oncoming drivers.These do have an IP rating of 65, so they are going to be insulated from your shock, water and dust. So you're not going to have to worry about them breaking down, getting water damage or anything like that. They are compatible with your 12 volt DC systems. They're only going to draw about three amps per bulb on your 13 volt power system. They are very easy to get installed, just a plug and play application. Just plug into the existing connectors. You're not going to have to worry about cutting or splicing or taping wires, anything like that. They will work with most vehicles. The exception is if you have a vehicle equipped with the Can-Bus or PWM, you will need an anti-flicker harness. We do have those available here at etrailer.com. It looks like this. This is just going to plug in line with your bulbs and then plug into the factory plug on your vehicle so it's going to help prevent any flickering of your LEDs. And if you we're to get the bulb out dash warning, this would help solve that.So you can purchase these individually, the light set and the harness, or if you like, we also have them available as a kit so that you get both, two harnesses and two light bulbs for your vehicle. So if you have that Can-Bus or PWM system, I would highly recommend getting one of those harnesses. The bulbs themselves do come with a two year limited warranty. But I think these are going to be a great option for you if you're wanting a nice, bright headlight.
