Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we take a look at this UWS 60 inch long, single door, topsider, truck bed side rail toolbox and the gloss black diamond tread finish. Now this topsider box is designed to mount on the top of your truck bed rails for easy cargo and tool access. Basically, the side rail design keeps your truck bed open to haul other cargo. And this is a universal design, so this can be mounted on either the driver's or passenger side. And just to show you how it opens, you just flip up your T handles There's one on each side here.
and then just twist it to unlock it. And then just go ahead and pull your door down, and just like that, you can see the door comes down. Now this does include the two mounting legs that a truck, attach to the truck bed floor. So there's one that you put on each corner. And again that'll support it when it's installed on your bed rail.
Now this box, uses a .05 eighths of an inch, extra thick, one piece aluminum, which will hold heavy tools and cargo. The aluminum construction has fully welded seams on this, and that'll guarantee it not to rust. We mentioned the finish on it. You can see is a nice gloss black powder coat, diamond tread finish. This is the best base finish if you want a paint it a color to match your truck.
Or you can use it just as like, a black as it is right now. We showed you the two T handles on front right here, that you just twist, like that, and twist back a quarter of a turn, push 'em down, so that they're flush out of the way. And that'll keep the door closed. The handles do have brass locks on 'em, for extra security of your tools. If you notice each lock will have two keys to it, and you just turn it a quarter of a turn like that, and it still will let the T handle pop up.
But, if you notice, it won't let it turn. Same on this side you can pop up the T handle, but it won't turn. So it will keep it locked. And then you'll notice the door when it opens. Show you the door again, when this opens. Pull the door down, and it does open a full 90 degrees. If you notice on each side here, just wanted to zoom in, and show you what we're talking about. On each side, you can see there's two stainless steel aircraft cables that'll support the door, keep it in the open position. Along the whole edge of this box, right up here, all the way around it, is a micro seal gasket. It'll help seal out any moisture, dust, and dirt. Any other neat features Let me sort of shoot it this way. If you look right up here, there's a channel that goes around the whole door opening. And what that's for, is if you get water on the top, and instead of when you open the door and the water falls off into your cargo box, this channel, the water will fall in that channel, and then roll off the end. So keep moisture and water from getting into your possessions. This part is made in the USA. We're gonna do some dimensions on this. Just go ahead and, close it again. And the dimensions, I'm gonna do overall dimensions. So we'll take our tape measure, and we'll go lengthwise, from that end, to this end. Oops. This is gonna be right at 60 inches. The height on it, gonna be from the very bottom right here, to the very top, gonna be right at 17 inches tall, and the total depth on this, let's see if we can, it's gonna be right at 13 and a half inches deep. Now I do want to open this, and just give you the dimensions of the door opening. Unlock it. Go ahead and pull down our door. And then the door opening, I'm gonna give you the length, the height, and the depth of the box itself. So in the opening dimensions, are gonna be, oops, right at 55 and three quarter inches. Height of the opening, 12 and a quarter inches. Total depth above the box, from the back to right here is 12 inches. Now the interior capacity is about 7.8 cubic feet of usable space. So again, what we'll do is just flip our door up, turn our handle, push it down. Same way over here, turn our handle, push it down. You wanna lock it, just turn to lock a quarter of a turn on each side and that'll lock it. But that should do it for the reviewing this UWS 60 inch long, single door, topsider truck bed side rail toolbox with the gloss black diamond tread finish..
