The BedRug truck-bed mat protects your fragile cargo and the floor of your vehicle's bed from life's bumpy roads. An economical alternative to a full-coverage BedRug, the BedRug mat cushions the truck-bed floor to help protect furniture, pet kennels, electronics and other breakable or sensitive loads. Colin: Hey everyone. It's Colin here at etrailer, and today we have a 2019 Toyota Tundra. So we're going to go ahead and do a test fit of the BedRug custom fit truck bed mat.This is a custom fit carpeted mat that you're going to be able to put in the bed of your Tundra. This is going to provide you with a really soft surface to store any cargo, whether it's coolers, luggage or even toolboxes. Maybe even just the occasional trip to the grocery store and you want to set it all back here, this gives you a nice soft surface for any fragile items. Or even if you're working in the bed of your truck, it gives you a nice place to kneel.
So you don't have to worry about kneeling on the metal bed frame while you're working in there.With this custom fit mat, you can see how it lines the contours of our truck bed very well. It covers almost seeing tire bed of our pickup. If you're interested in this, but you would like to have more coverage, there is an option to get a full bed mat, meaning that you'll have sidewalls that come up and cover all of it completely, just to give you more of that protection, and honestly it might look a little bit better. In my opinion, it does. That is available here at etrailer for your Tundra, if that's something you're interested in.Right now, you can see it's a little bit bowed up.
That's just because we just got it out of the box. It was rolled up. We tried to flatten it out as best as we could, but it still is a little bit up off the bed. That will go down over time, especially if you install it properly. Right now, we just have a sitting in the bed.I'll show you real quick by lifting it up, you can see those red strips right there.
Those are the hook and loop pads that we have connected right now. The red is just the backing for the adhesive, so what you would do is peel off those red backings and then you would set it down, and that adhesive is going to stick to the ridges of our truck bed right here.Once you do that, it'll have more security, it'll help it stay in place in our truck bed. And then you also have the option to take it off. The hook and loop will just tear apart. You'll have that adhesive strip sitting in the bed of your truck, and then you can take the carpet bed mat out, in case you want to haul something and not damaged your carpet bed rug.You can see it just tears off like that.
You definitely want to make sure that you get that in adhesive off and get it installed onto the bed of your pickup. The only reason we've left it like this is just because the customer is not keeping this bed mat. We just wanted to show you guys what it would look like on your Tundra.Something that I was pretty impressed with, with these bed rugs is that, even though they provide you with a soft space to either kneel or set your cargo on, it's also very tough and durable. It resists water so you can actually take a power washer or hose and spray it out. I've seen a lot of people throw mulch, gravel, stuff like that on their bed rug and unload it, and all they did was take a power washer at a car wash and spray it out, and then it was like brand new.It's going to resist mildew, so you don't have to worry about water collecting inside of it. It's got these nice pores on the bottom of its construction, so the water can leak out. So you don't have to worry about it growing mold or mildew over time. Like I said, very tough and durable. It's definitely something that, if you do have those occasional work days getting firewood or soil, you don't have to worry about taking it out.To add to that durability, they really went the extra mile to help it withstand a lot of different chemicals that you might spill on it, whether it's motor oil, bleach, maybe even some battery acid. You'd be able to get all that cleaned off of it.Something else that it does a good job of is that it's going to absorb a lot of sound. Just to show you guys, we've got to this some metal hammer right here. Lift the BedRug, toss it on the bed. You could hear that was very loud. We put the BedRug down, toss it on the same way. You can hardly hear it. This works out for a lot of cases where maybe you're carrying a lot of tools, you're not going to hear as always rattling around. I've even thrown my pet cage on here to make sure that doesn't rattled around too much while we're traveling.As far as what it's made of, it's got a foam, polypropylene construction. It's a lot more durable than just standard foam. Like I said, it's got those open pores right there to help make sure water can run through it and doesn't build up at all. A lot of other bed mats out there are just strict foam, and a lot of times when you try to wash those out, water collects for a longer period of time. Sometimes you have to take them out and just let them dry before you put them in the back of your truck.In the case of this foam polypropylene construction, you can just spray it off and leave it in the bed of your trip pickup and you don't have to worry about any of that mold or mildew.Well, thank you all for watching and I hope this information helped you out, but that'll do it for our test fit of the BedRug custom fit truck bed mat on our 2019 Toyota Tundra.

The Bed Mat has been excellent. Even after several heavy loads, there has been no dips or sags. Haven’t had an issue with any corners curling inward and has continued to keep my truck bed cool.

This is a nice bed mat with plenty of cushion to keep nice stuff protected in the bed. Easy install and removal when you want to clean it. Probably not meant for a working truck, but would hold up for a period of time.

After one year, both rugs have shrunk,so velcro top has pulled away from the bed velcto on the deck.
The out of box fit had a larger than ideal margin in several area like wheelwell and sides.

Love the product, looks awesome!
After reading other reviews I went to local surplus store and purchased additional 4' of velcro (hook&loop) with adhesive back for a whole .99 cents and installed it for peace of mind. Something to think about!
Disappointed my tailgate mat was backorder an additional week!!
And lastly, it would be big bonus if you had a Canadian distributor to save us isolated Canadian's the high cost of shipping and the nasty exchange rate to US bucks EH!

I've had my Truck Bed Mat for a year, and I had no idea that something like this existed. I was looking for something to protect my golf clubs and keep them from sliding while in the bed of my truck. This mat is perfect. Cleans easily, is sturdy and very well made.

This mat has been perfect for my truck. Ours is in a superduty with a snugtop used frequently for camping with a travel trailer, meaning the pickup bed holds everything from firewood to coolers to our generators. The mat keeps items from sliding around, and is easy on the knees when you have to crawl into the topper to get something. The mat itself is simple to pull out and clean if there are spills. Overall it's a great addition!

I was in need of a quality bed mat for my 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. I found it ! Installing the mat took 10 minutes and if fits like a glove. It's lightweight but very durable and it absolutely stopped the cargo in the back of my truck from sliding around. I have it installed in conjunction with the Toyota Tacoma cargo divider. The cargo divider does NOT get hung up on the mat when adjusting the divider becomes necessary. Customer service is absolutely one of the better experiences I have it quite awhile. I was notified durning ever step of the purchasing process to include final delivery. One of the most user friendly websites I have used and these folks mail to APO's.!!!!!!! I highly recommend this product for all you Taco drivers!!!

One-year in and overall I'm satisfied with the BedRug. It works as advertised, but has stains which cannot be cleaned, and a "bulge" which will not go down.

Excellent product, easy install. Something to note is that the 2021 Honda Ridgeline has a slightly different bed design and although the product fits well, I had to trim a bit on each side near the rear pillars to follow the line of the sides near the tailgate. Not a big deal, no regrets, easy adjustment. See pics.

This mat is a great addition to my new Honda Ridgeline. Easy to install fits perfectly and makes in easy to slide items in the bed and protects your knees if you have to knee in the bed.

Bed Rug is a great product overall. Installation is straightforward and easy. I do recommend the use of denatured alcohol after scuffing the spray-in bedliner, to promote the best adhesion. You can purchase a quart at any big box home improvement store. Caution: This product is highly volatile, so be sure to use in an outdoor space and wear the minimum of chemical protective gloves and eye protection. Also, avoid inhaling the fumes! The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is that it doesn’t quite fit very well on the rear sides of the pickup box, where the Canyon has multiple “ribs” near the tailgate. Other than that, it looks great and is a real treat to sit on, particularly when I installed the Bak Flip F1 bedcover.

I love this. Never thought I would, but I was tired of aching knees every time I had to crawl into the truck bed. I did not fasten it down, as my truck shell will keep it from blowing away. Whenever I need to haul mulch, I just pull it out. Fits tight otherwise. It's perfect for camping. Best accessory I've bought for my truck! It for stain after a bottle of 3-in-1 oil spilled out of my toolbox, and unfortunately holds some of the smell.

The bed rug is doing the job that I intended. It keeps items from sliding around in the bed, adds protection, and makes it easy on the knees if in the bed. The rug is very light in weight, but I have a tonneau cover so I don’t know how well it reacts to wind from traffic. The rug is still very durable and cleans up well. I would recommend it with covered truck beds unless you remove it when not in use.

The product seams like it will work well however a piece came damaged.. when the carpet was packed it was folded and creased, this caused a rip about 3” long.

The liner fits perfectly and fills the corrugations of the bed well and makes it much easier on the knees when working in the back. It’s also nice that cargo doesn’t slam into the back of the cab when braking. Wish I’d had this installed years ago!

I really like the Bedrug mat. Easy to install, had to request additional Velcro strips. The Red ones secured the rug very nicely to the bed of the truck. Cleans really easy. I would highly recommend this Bedrug.
