Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer today, we have a 2020 Silverado 1500, and we're going to be taking a look at the Dee Zee custom fit truck bed mat.So first things first let's go ahead and figure out which side is going to go towards the cab of the truck. That's the one that we're going to put in first, and it is going to be the section that has the smallest amount of material on the one side of the wheel well space there. So I'm going to do this by myself. You guys have an extra set of hands that might work a little bit better, but it is definitely possible by yourself. Back it up, pull it up, get it working into place. We aren't really seeing the best fit just because we do have a drop-in liner as you guys see, but it still is going to get what we want.
That's just more coverage and just a softer surface.The bed mat that we have in here is going to be extremely thick, about three eighths of an inch thick, and it is going to be a custom fit bed mat. We don't have the best fitment because we do have a drop-in liner. But if you guys do like having the drop-in liner in there, just for these two-by-four holders and stuff like that, definitely keep them. We might go ahead and maybe trim up some of this to make it fit a little bit better. But other than that, it's definitely going to get what we want, and that is just to give us a very, very soft surface for the inside of our bed.
This is going to help with some of that loose stuff you guys have in the bed of your truck. It's not going to be shifting and stuff like that.That's why I don't necessarily love the drop-in bed liners just because one, you are going to get a lot of things that we're going to just slip and slide on this surface as it really isn't too sticky and grippy. So that's something that I kind of look for. And this drop-in liner is not going to be too forgiving on your knees with the big thick, rubber mat that we have here. It's going to be a lot easier for crawling in and out of your bed.It is made of a high strength, nyracord rubber.
So it is going to resist against all those UV rays that are going to be beating down of it over time. And also all those extremely cold temperatures that you guys have. We're not going to see any cracking or fading or anything like that, which is definitely a plus. One thing we're going to go ahead and do is we're going to take out this drop-in liner just to show you guys how well it's going to fit.And one other thing I like to mention is if you guys have any more hard chemicals, like gas, oil, anything like that, these are going to resist against all that. So it's not going to fade it or literally eat right through it.
So it's a very, very durable mat, but let's go ahead and take out this liner and see how it fits.So as you guys can see now with the liner out of the Silverado, we have a really good fit. It comes all the way to the end of the bed, it curves around all these little curves here, and it's definitely a very nice fit. Yes, it works with the drop-in liner, but it looks better without it, in my opinion. Another thing I like to go over is whenever we pulled out the drop-in liner, there was a lot of stuff underneath of it that got trapped over time with this, a lot easier to remove it, just because the drop-in liner is a little bit more intense to take out. And it's definitely going to be a two person job.So with this, we're going to be able to clean underneath the bed to prevent anything from happening, like any pools of water or anything like that, just coming and just piling up underneath our liner. So this is going to be nice. And also it's going to be a lot easier to clean because on the drop-in liner, you have those really deep ridges, this you don't. And all we really need is some water. I have a little bit of footprints there and those wipe up really nicely. So it's going to be extremely easy to keep it looking nice as well.Well, everyone that just about does it for a look at the Dee Zee custom fit truck bed mat on our 2020 Chevy Silverado.

This is a heavy duty bed mat that can withstand a lot of abuse.
The fit for my Silverado was good except behind the wheel wells where it was a bit too wide. A small trim job made it perfect otherwise an excellent product that should last for years. I would recommend this bed mat.

Arrive in a timely manner. Unpacked it. Rolled it out in the truck. Perfect fit. Makes things a little harder to load, but still better than having everything sliding around banging into the side of the box. Unlike the slippery sprayed-in bed liner did. No problems here.

GMC Sierra
I purchased the DeeZee bed mat as I had a Rhino Lining sprayed into the bed of my new Sierra, but wasn't told that the "version" of the lining they spray in now was slipperier than $#@#. So, only option was to get a bed mat. This one fit perfectly and I can tell you NOTHING will slide around for sure. Had to lift my heavy tool box to the front of bed instead of pushing it... lol. But - it will serve the purpose I wanted (my ice fishing sled slid around like an ice cube on the kitchen counter without the new bed mat)..... :-)

The custom bed mat fit the layout of the truck bed exactly. The mat is constructed of durable heavy weight rubber and the mat does not fly up in the bed while you are driving down the highway (some mats try to flyout of the bed because they are light-weight).

The mat is a perfect fit for my 2019 Silverado. I've owned it for a year and it has held up well in Arizona sun with no signs of deterioration. It is made from a heavy thick material that stays in place even when dragging things over it. I prefer the mat over a bedliner so my tie down points are unobstructed and I have the full bed width available to me.

This bed mad is quite heavy and durable. I like how there's no need to drill into the bed for installation. Just drop it in and go! It evens the floor of the bed out nicely so loading items is super easy and they don't slide around.

Arrived sooner than expected. Thanks. Great condition, just like one I used years ago for hauling stone, coal, cement blocks, etc. Could never even marked it with a shovel edge. Same item.these are incredibly durable. They do have an odor when new, just like new tires. This will dissipate in a few weeks, a normal condition, since made of tire rubber. Not completely flat when rolled out. Place it out in the sun a few hours. Then reroll backwards prior to installation. roll up front first, back last, so it rolls almost perfectly in place. The fit is good, about an inch all around. Mine was over a spray in bed liner. Plenty thick, and heavy.

After receiving an email from etrailer explaining that my order would not be ready to ship for two to three weeks they kindly asked if that was okay with me or would I prefer to cancel. It also promised that if I wished to leave the order pending they would remain in touch and keep an eye on it and update me on the status. I decided to continue with the order and it arrived at my front door only one week later.
The product is very heavy duty and fits like a glove as you can y the photos. It also has a very sticky feeling surface that should keep most cargo pretty much in place.
But the real reason I am sending in this evaluation is not so much the product as it is etrailer and the way they do business. I have to say that anyone selling products on the internet should take lessons from etrailer and their staff. Their website gives tons of information on each product and the how-to videos are excellent. You know exactly what you are ordering and their customer service is the best I have ever encountered. I will be coming back the next time I need something for my truck or trailer.

Although this mat was cataloged for the previous generation Frontier, with just a little trimming at the tailgate and the left side wheel well (shown in photos), it fit well in my 2022 with the 6 foot bed!

Excellent Bed Mat for my 2016 Nissan Frontier with 6-foot bed. Fits very well, and is sufficiently thick, unlike a lot of the other mats I looked at. In addition to providing plenty of protection, the extra thickness has the added effect of smoothing out the corrugations in the bed. I like the durometer and finish, too - it's just grippy enough that things stay put, and not slippery when wet (like a lot of bed liners) but you can still slide cargo around when you need to. Also, the molded pattern runs lengthwise - some of the others I looked at had snaggy diamond texture, etc. It's the mat I wanted - had to wait for delivery, but it was well worth it. I've hauled everything from firewood and construction materials to welders and equipment, and this mat is just about perfect. Highly recommend and will likely buy for my next truck. Unfortunately, DeeZee does not offer a matching tailgate mat - if they did, I'd get that, too.

The rubber is soft enough to give a good no slide surface. The only reason it's not worthy of 5 stars is the surface has blemishes in it. But it's a bed mat so it's fine for my purposes.

Bought it because of the weight. Some are so thin, I think they would blow out of the bed. Now I can kneel in the bed without hurting my knees. A empty propane bottle stays in place instead of rolling around in the bed and messing up the sides. Hauled a Deer home and the mat made it very easy to clean up the blood.

My new bed mat fits my 2023 Toyota Tacoma perfectly! I had one of these mats in my previous pickup that I had for 14 years and it very durable. Best buy for the money in my opinion.

After a year of use, the bed mat still looks as good as new. It is a great mat for sure. I still wish I had the correct Rhino Lining sprayed in, but the DeeZee sure holds things in place.
