How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here. Taking a look at the Huk half size two bike pad on the back of our 2022 Chevrolet Colorado. You secure your bike to the Huk using the straps that are provided. And you just thread it through one of the four loops here on the carrier. The whole carrier, it's padded. It's scratch resistant lining to go against the finish of your vehicle.

And the connection point, it just has these straps, that you're actually gonna drop down underneath the gap in the tailgate, and make your connection on the front. So as far as everywhere where you're making contact with your bike, it is a nice thick padding. However, if you have a bike that you wouldn't want contact to your frame, this wouldn't be a great option. But it is a good way to make use of the bed of your truck to move two bikes. And moving to the exterior of your pad, where your forks are gonna rest, you have another nice thick pad made out of that same scratch resistant, weather resistant material.

You have your Kuat logo down here right next to your rear straps. The setup for the straps are kind of cool versus some of the other bike carriers that we have out there for the pads. You actually drop 'em down from the inside of the bed, and thread it through, and make your connection here, instead of trying to fish it underneath from the other direction. So that's kind of a handy thing with the Kuat. As far as the rear of your vehicle, your license plate is wide open.

Depending on how you position, your taillights may be blocked a little bit by your wheel spokes. And your backup camera is mostly unobscured. You may pick up the edge of your bike carrier, but you'll still be able to see what's going on behind you. And you always have your backup mirror, well, your rear view mirror, and your side mirrors. As you see, the Huk is taken up about a third of your display in the backup camera, but mostly we're unobstructed, and you still have your rear view mirrors, and you can look over your shoulder to make sure you're free of any obstacles.

The Huk too is overall a really solid over the bed bike pad. I think this guy is made out of some really great materials. It's very weather resistant, and the padding feels super substantial. There is a mid-size available that allows you to carry five bikes. It gives you an access panel right here where your tailgate handle and backup camera would be. We could take a look at that on another video to see if that gives you, you know, the clearance that you need to see your backup camera unobstructed.
