Hello everybody, this is Jeff at trailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this 20 inch long dual-pass aluminum heat sink cooler. Now this heat sink cooler can be mounted anywhere your space permits. It is best to select a location that'll deliver the maximum airflow to the cooler. Now this heat sink cooler will absorb and then dissipate heat effectively through both internal and external aluminum fins. It'll extend the life, improve functioning of your engine, transmission, power steering, your fuel, or even your differential system.
Does include everything showed here on the table. The aluminum heat sink cooler with the mounting brackets installed, comes with two of the quarter inch NPT by 3/8 inch hose barb fittings that'll fit right here on this end right here, screws in place. And it comes with a nice set of installation instructions that'll describe how this goes together. Now this does have a compact diameter three inch housing, capable of fitting in most frame rails and it is designed with the inlet and the outlet on the same end so that the tube can be routed through the cooler, taking up less space in your engine compartment. This part is made in the U.S.A.
A few specs on this, again, the inlets, which are on the ends here, has quarter inch NPT hose barb fittings that'll screw in there. Overall dimension, I'm gonna include the mounting brackets, from this end to this end. So you're gonna be looking at right at 20 1/4 inches long. The overall height of this, we put a ruler on it, it's gonna be right at 3 1/4 inches tall. And then we mentioned the diameter of it is gonna be three inches.
Now the distance between the mounting holes, you can see the mounting brackets with the holes in it, so if we measure center to center this way, distance between those mounting holes is 19 5/8 inches. But that should do it for the review on the Derale 20 inch long dual-pass aluminum heat sink cooler..
