Today we're going to take a look at the 1-7/8" tall center hanger bracket for 2-1/2" wide slipper springs. This center hanger will suspend the equalizer on tandem or triple axle trailers to provide attachment points for your slipper springs. This is a weld-on installation, attaches to the underside of the trailer frame. This one is designed for trailers with 9,000-lb, 10,000-lb, or 12,000-lb haze axles. It is designed to fit the 2-1/2" wide double eye springs that have the 1" diameter eyes, and if you see the hole in the side here, it is designed to work with the 1" diameter bolt. We do sell those separately on our website, and they are listed on the product page of this part as a related product. Quantity, this is for one center hanger.
Give you a few specs on this, we're going to do some measurements. The overall length, from this edge to this edge, put a ruler on it, is right at 5". The width, from outside to outside is right at 4-7/8" wide. The inside width is right at 4-3/16, and the overall height of the very bottom to the very top is going to be right at 3-1/4" tall. On hangers, when they give the overall height, this one they say 1-7/8" tall, basically that measurement is from the center of the bolt hole up to the top of the hanger.
If we do a ruler on center to the top, you can see it gets the 1-7/8" tall hanger. That should do it for the review on the 1-7/8" tall center hanger bracket for 2-1/2" wide slipper springs.
