The combination of an e-coat base and a powder coat finish provides excellent rust protection.The hitch recommended for my Mercedes-Benz 2021 GLA250 by your eTrailer Representative Robin H. was the Draw-Tite model # 75223. Not pointing fingers, but what a frustrating experience it resulted in.
After receiving the hitch I took it to a Mercedes-Benz dealer for professional installation. Upon removing the vehicle's bumper, taillights and all related components they soon discovered that the Draw-Tite has a 4 bolt attachment pattern, not the 3 bolt pattern required.
Only because eTrailer's Customer Service Rep. Melissa and her Manager Faye interceded to rush-ship a replacement Ecohitch ES96SR (unfortunately at twice the cost) am I giving this review 3 Stars more than is deserved. Aside from the cost difference, selling me the wrong hitch has now resulted in my car with disassembled parts and rear bumper detached, being un-drivable for 5 days while the Installer awaits the new shipment.
Please address this issue with the Draw-Tite manufacturer in order to update their technical specifications regarding 2021 GKLA250's. As well, please update your own website information ( shown below) in order that this issue with someone else isn't duplicated. Thank you.

Very solid hitch, works well on my QX30 however I did have a local auto shop install it as it’s quite difficult on the QX30
with the amount of things R&R.
Ordering and receiving this part was very easy. It was installed at a truck hitch shop in less than 2 hours. Very happy with the product, I have only used it for a bike rack so far.
J-Pin is well made, good quality weather-protected rubber-covered lock, sturdy course threaded bolt and wrenched included. Unfortunately the J-Pin design is not compatable with our Kuat two bike or Reese four bike racks in the two inch (2") Draw-Tite hitch recently installed on the Mercedes GLA. Absent the J-Pin, the Kuat two inch (2") adapter and tension screw-ball should be enough to keep things tight and free of rattle or play. Note that the Kuat smaller diameter hitch pin was necessary because of the manner in which the holes align. In other words, the Kuat adapter and rack holes, while large enough, will not alignment perfectly in the centre of the hitch, hence the Kuat pin. The Reese screw-in hitch pin worked just fine and was tight. Unfortunately cannot test until I have something that plugs into the hitch and allows the J-Pin holes line up.

Looks great, I had my car dealer install, it was beyond my skill and tool level. My primary use is for a bike rack, I really did not want to install a roof mounted rack due to my other vehicle has a hitch mount,
Very nice quality and price point. etrailer needs to update their install video to reflect the newer 2019 plus models. There were a couple changes on the newer models that increase the install difficulty. It is definitely a 10 rating on difficulty for a 2019 MB 250 GLA but the video did cover about 95% of the install so a great help.
The hitch is very heavy duty and the installation instructions were excellent. It is working perfectly so I can load my 2 heavy ebikes.
Installation wasn't too difficult, I just had to remove my bumper and heat shield before reaching the frame. It works perfectly for pulling my jet ski.
