Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror for the driver's side of your vehicle. Now this product fits a 2004 to 2008 Ford F-150. It's an extendable towing mirror, so that means that this whole unit can actually slide away or out farther from the vehicle. It replaces the factory side view mirror on your vehicle, that way there's no need for snap on or strap on towing mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off. This is a permanent mount installation.It does have that telescoping function, which makes it easy to see around the side of your trailer, that way you can safely change lanes, pass and park. So, all you have to do is pull the mirror away from the vehicle to extend your line of sight and then push the mirror back into place when you're not towing.It has the connection point right here that offers power mirror adjustment.

That's going to let you change the mirror face position using the factory controls from inside the vehicle. Also, we have the heated mirror glass, which is designed to clear frost and ice and reduce fogging. We have the amber light here on the bottom. This is the turn signal light. So it lights up when the turn signal is activated.

And on the very bottom, we do have the puddle lamp right there, which illuminates the area directly underneath the mirror. At the bottom we have the built in spotter mirror, which reduces blind spots.And this mirror does sit on a hinged mechanism. It does really two things: it allows you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces. It also gives it a break away design, so if the mirror is stuck from the front or the back, it'll fold in to really help deter breakage and severe permanent damage to the unit.We're looking at a durable plastic housing, with a really nice textured black finish. It's custom fit for your vehicle.

It's a simple no drill installation, uses the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. And then again, right here it plugs into the existing electrical wiring.Now when it comes to the mirror face dimensions, the main one 6 1/4 inches tall by 8 inches wide. The distance from the edge of the mirror to the vehicle when it's extended is 22 1/2 inches. Retracted is about 19 inches. Spotter mirror height is 3 inches.
