Today we're going to take a look at the K Source custom extendable passenger side electric towing mirror with the heat and turn signal. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2004 to 2008 Ford F-150 trucks. Now this is an extendable towing mirror that will replace the factory side view mirror on your vehicle. There's no need to use any of those snap on or strap on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off.This mirror does have a telescoping function, makes it very easy to see around the side of your trailer so that you can safely change lanes, pass, or park.

Basically all you have to do is just pull the mirror itself away from the vehicle and extend your line of sight by about three and a half inches. And when you're done all you have to do is just push the mirror right back into place when you're not towing. It does have a power mirror adjustment that'll let you change the mirror face position with the factory control inside your vehicle. It does offer heated mirror glass, which will clear the frost and ice, reduce fogging. The very bottom here you can see this amber light.

This'll light up when your turn signal's activated. And on the very bottom they do have a huddle lamp, which will illuminate the area under the mirror.This smaller mirror down here is a spotter mirror, reduces blind spots. It does adjust manually. And this mirror has a hinge design, which allows you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces. Has a nice durable plastic housing with a nice textured black finish.

It is custom fit for your vehicle. It is a simple no drill installation, you can see it'll have the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. And then the mirror will actually plug into your existing electrical wiring. This is a passenger side mirror only. It does include the mounting nuts to install it.A few specs on this, on the mirror itself the width on it is right at 8 inches, overall height 6 and 1/4 inches tall, the spotter mirror is going to be the same width, 8 inches, height on just the spotter mirror is 3 inches.

Now the distance from the edge of the mirror to the vehicle when it's retracted like it is now is 19 inches, when it's fully extended out is 22 and 1/2 inches. And this does meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
