Today we're going to take a look at the K-Source custom extendable passenger side and driver side electric towing mirrors with the heat and turn signal. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2004 to 2008 Ford F150 trucks, and on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle and it will show you if this will work for your application.Now, these are extendable towing years that will replace the factory side view mirrors on your vehicle. So there's no need for any of the snap-on or strap on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off. These use a telescoping function that make it very easy to see around the side of your trailer so that you can safely change lanes, pass or park.

Basically, all you have to do is just pull the mirror just like that away from your vehicle, extend your line of sight probably about three and a half inches. Then when you're done, all you do is you just push them years back into place when you're not towing.They do offer the power mirror adjustment that'll let you change your mirror face position with the factory control inside your vehicle. They do use a heated mirror glass which will clear frost and ice, reduce fogging. The very bottom on each one, right here you can see there's an amber light. This will light up when your turn signal is activated.

Then on the very bottom right here each one has a puddle lamp that will illuminate the area under the mirror. The smaller mirror at the bottom is a built-in spotter mirror. This reduces blind spots, and you do adjust that one manually.These mirrors are a hinge design so it allows you to fold them years up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces. The mirrors are in a nice durable plastic housing with a texture black finish. They are custom fit for your vehicle, and they are a simple no drill installation.

You can see they have the same foot printed mounting points as your factory mirrors, and the mirrors will plug right here into your existing electrical wiring. It does include both the driver side and passenger side mirrors. Does include the mounting nuts when you go to install it.A few dimensions on this. We are going to get a ruler and we'll measure the mirror face dimensions. So the width on the main mirror, you're going to be looking right at eight inches wide.

The height on it is going to be right at six and a quarter inches tall. Now on the spotter mirror, that's also going to be eight inches wide. The height on the spotter mirror is right at three inches. Now, the distance from the edge of the mirror to the vehicle when it's retracted like it is now is going to be 19 inches. Then when you extend it out it's going to be 22 and a half inches.
