Jeff Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Counteract torque tire valve core tool. Now, this tire valve core tool is used to install or remove the valve core in your tire valve stem. This one is a torque valve core tool, so to ensure that you tightened the valve cores on your vehicle or trailer tires to the correct torque specs. And just to demonstrate that, I happen to pull here's a valve stem.

So, if we take off your valve cap, your valve core is what's in there. So, this tool will allow you to, has the cut-out for the valve core. You just turn until it locks into place, and then just unscrew it. You can see as you unscrew it, it'll remove your valve core. Once you remove your valve core, and then to install it, again, just put your valve core in there.

Take your tool and go ahead and tighten it down. And as you're tightening it down, you always wonder how tight you should torque it. This tool eliminates that guessing. All you have to do is turn it until you hear it click. Once you hear that click, that means it's tight enough.
