Today we'll be taking a quick look at the K Source replacement side mirror. Now this is going to be a custom fit for the 2014 through 2018 Toyota Tundra. It's going to replace your passenger side mirror. It matches with the OAM mirror and that footprint so you don't have to worry about it looking any different than your original mirror. It has a nice durable plastic housing with this texturized black finish. It's a pretty easy install.
We'll just have the three connections to make with the nuts and studs there.It just bolts right into place. There's no cutting or drilling. And then there's a little port for your wiring to get plugged in there, so we don't have to worry about any wire splicing at all. We'll have an OE grade convex glass. So it'll give us a great field of view.
Helps to eliminate any blind spots. And there's also a blind spot indicator, or BSDS censor. So that alerts you if anybody's coming up into your blind spot. Helps you make safer choices when you're changing lanes.It's also plated .. That glass is plated with a reflective chrome.
And it also has a heated function as well. So if we have any frost or ice accumulated on our mirror, maybe it's a foggy day and there's some moisture on there, we can get that burned away. Now if your vehicle didn't have those powered functions, this is not going to be an upgrade. It's just going to replace the same functions that you already had. So if you didn't have the blind spot detection system or heated glass, this doesn't give you those capabilities.It's pretty easy install as I said.
We'll have our break away design here. You can see there's that little cut out so that whenever we're in a close quarter situation, we need to fold our mirror in, we can do that. This is for the passenger side. We also have the driver side available here at etrailer.com. So definitely check that out if you need the other mirror or both together. And that's gonna do it for our look at the K Source replacement side mirror with electric and heat functions and the blind spot detection system.

Was able to install the mirror on my own, is still working great and as expected. etrailer.com was very easy to work with, and I got my mirror in the mail much faster than I expected to which was a nice bonus!
Mirror delivered on time. Easy installation and same as an OEM part only much more economical!
This replacement mirror is pretty much identical to the original OEM mirror.
You can't beat the cost. I know I saved over $xxx plus dollars by replacing it myself. The removal and replacement process is easy to perform. The broken mirror was removed and replaced in 30 minutes.
