Today we're going to take a look at the K-Source drivers side electric heated replacement side mirror with the black and chrome finish. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2014 and newer Toyota Tundras with the heated power mirrors. This is a side view mirror. It's a direct replacement for the drivers side factory mirror on your vehicle and it is modeled after the manufacturers original look and fit. Does have power remote capability, so you can adjust the mirror face position with your factory power controls inside your vehicle.
This does use a heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice, helps reduce fogging. Now the glass on this is an OE grade flat glass with first surface plating to reflect clear images. The front of the glass itself is plate with reflective chrome and it is a flat lens that reflects true representation of the object size in the mirror. This is a breakaway design, which means the mirror will fold when struck to prevent any breakage. It's a nice durable black plastic housing with the chrome finish. It is an easy no drill installation.
If you notice right here it has the same footprint and mounting points as a factory mirror. Does come with the mounting hardware to install it. The mirror does plug into existing electrical wiring. The specs on this, this will replace the original equipment part number of 879400C490. This part is for a quantity of one drivers side mirror.
A couple notes on this mirror is the power remote capability and the heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions. This mirror does not support lane change assist. But that should do it for the review on the K-Source drivers side electric heated replacement side mirror with the black and chrome finish.
