Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at the Gorilla ratchet straps with S-hooks. These are 1 1/4 inches wide by 14 feet long, and they have a safe working load limit of 1,000 pounds or a maximum brake load strength of 3,000 pounds. Now folks, these are gonna be a very nice ratcheting tie-down strap that's gonna let you secure your cargo in the truck bed, on the trailer. Maybe you wanna tie down your lawnmower, ATV, side by side, or even a personal watercraft. These will be great for those kind of things as well.
Now, they do have a very nice sturdy ratchet mechanism. (ratchet mechanism clicking) That makes it really easy to tighten down the straps and yet maintain tension on the straps whenever you have everything installed. It's got a very nice ergonomic release tab there that's spring loaded. All the plastic molded handle here and the rubber grips on the side make it very ergonomic, very nice to handle. Doesn't pinch or bind on you like some of the other brands out there that are all just solid metal.
Now, I wanna zoom in here to the strap surface. These are a thick polyester webbing. They've been coated with PVC, and the edges are durable and very abrasion resistant. Now, zooming back out here, the safety straps themselves, they have this nice hardened steel core S-hook. Now that S-hook's not gonna bend or flex or anything because it's super hardened, and it's also got this nice vinyl coating on it to help prevent scratches on your cargo when you're tying down stuff.
Now, one of my favorite features is this orange plastic safety cap. That just simply pops off, and what that guy's used for, when you put your hook on something on one side of the trailer, vehicle, whatever, and you try to run the strap to the other side, a lot of times what happens is this will fall off because it's not under tension. Well, with this safety cap, you don't have to worry about that anymore. You simply put that on once you've got it around, whatever you're tying down to on one side. You run to the other side.
Now it's already hooked in place and it won't fall off. So I really do like that feature a lot. As I mentioned, everything's ergonomic. The molded plastic on the handles makes it really easy to use and super simple to grip. You're also gonna get this nice weather-resistant hard plastic case. It's a nice two-piece case, and it makes putting everything away for storage really, really simple. So you can put the small strap webbing on the bottom maybe, put the top guys here, and simply put the lid on. And then you can put this in the cargo area of your vehicle, maybe the bed of your truck, the toolbox, whatever, and then you're all ready to go. So again, very nice hard case. Folks, you get two ratchet straps, and it has a nice one-year limited warranty. I'm Steven. This has been our look today at the Gorilla ratchet straps, 1 1/4 inch wide by 14 feet long. Thanks for watching, and have a great day.

Not a big deal frankly but when I let them know they quickly sent an entire new set of straps. They went above and beyond. Very happy how that worked out
