Surface-Mount, Bolt-On Installation is Easy
This ceiling light is incredibly easy to install either as an upgrade or a replacement of your existing light. Using hardware (not included), bolt the light down onto the ceiling in your RV or camper. The light can be turned on and off with the integrated push button, or it can be wired to a light switch. The 2-wire design hooks up to ground (white wire) and power (black wire).

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Gustafson 12 Volt RV LED Ceiling Light with Light Shade. This ceiling light will give you a warm light in your RV or camper kitchen, or even your living room space. This is gonna be perfect for using above a dinette table, counter, sink and more. As you can see, I do have this connected to 12 volt power. And let me go ahead and turn my studio lights off just so you can get the fuller effect of what this light is going to look like in the dark or low light conditions.
This does include energy efficient, white LEDs that is going to last longer and burn brighter than incandescent bulbs. Zooming out here, I'm just going to lift this above my table and you can see the light that it casts on my tabletop. And the color temperature is 3000 Kelvin. It's really a pleasing light that this puts out a nice warm light. Then zooming back in.
So hopefully that gives you an idea of what this is going to look like and how bright it is. This has a wattage of four watts and of course this is gonna work in your 12 volt system. I do wanna show you that this does have an integrated push button right here on the base that's going to let you turn the light on and off, and it can also be wired to an interior light switch. Let me go ahead and disconnect the power here just to go over a few other details and specs about this light. The black metal net shade with the fabric interior is going to give this light fixture a really classy look, a really nice finished look.
And that is a real metal net frame that is around this light. And let me give you some overall measurements just so you have a good idea of the size and so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. So looking at the diameter of our base, you can see there it's five inches. And then looking at the overall diameter of our light, and so the widest point is going to be our black metal net shade. Lining that up, looks like we're sitting right at 13 inches in diameter.
And then the overall height, so that fabric shade actually comes out a little bit farther than our black metal net does. So the overall height measuring from the base all the way to the top here, we're sitting a little over eight inches, altogether about eight and one eighth inches. This is going to be a bolt-on installation and you have two holes here on either side, so you just will get the hardware that is going to be best for your application, your installation.
