Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Flare-It PEX T-connector fitting. This T is going to connect your pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system. So whether you're repairing a leaky connection or installing new lines, and this is gonna do a great job for you. It will work with your PEX pipes, the old gray PB pipes and polyvinyl tubing. So we've got two of these three quarter inch barbed connections here, that's going to fit your pipes and hoses with three quarter inch inner diameter.
And then we have the half inch barbed connection here that's going to fit your pipes and hoses with a half inch inner diameter. So having those barbed connections with the compression tools, compression fittings is going to allow you to install this without any tools. So basically the way this will work, you'll slide that compression fitting onto your pipe and then you'll put the barb on the inside of your pipe, get that fit in. It might take a little bit of wiggling to get that put in place, but then once that's butted up properly, you can just slide your compression fitting and then thread that in place and that is gonna create a very strong hold. I used that with a very similar fitting the other day and while I was able to get it on by hand, it took several tools to get that off.
So it is gonna be a very secure connection for you and giving you a nice tight seal. Having the two three quarter inch barb connections is going to basically allow you to run a jumper pipe off your main three quarter inch line. So if you're needing to add a half inch line into there, you can just cut that, add this in place and then run your half inch pipe off of it. This is going to be constructed of a polyoxymethylene construction so it is going to be very durable and resistant to stress cracking. It will hold up well for you and do a great job.
So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
