These hard-plastic mud flaps are more rigid and less likely to sail than rubber splash guards. The wide flaps will protect your vehicle, towed gear, and other cars on the road from rocks and debris, and they are able to cover many dually tires.

Specs:
These truck or trailer mud flaps are 3/16" thick and constructed of polymer, or hard plastic, which is more rigid than rubber and won't sail in the wind. The durable construction can withstand subfreezing temperatures, so these flaps won't get brittle when the rain turns to snow and ice. And despite being more stiff than rubber, these flaps still have enough give to bend rather than break if they hit something on the road.
If you're simply replacing your mud flaps and you already have mounting brackets in place, just line up the pre-drilled holes on these flaps with your mounting plate and reuse your existing hardware. If the holes don't quite line up, you can easily drill new ones.
If you're installing mud flaps for the first time, you'll need to purchase mounting plates (sold separately) and weld them onto your truck or trailer to create attachment points for the flaps. To ensure the most secure attachment, add on bolt hole reinforcement plates (337MFW2375) to keep the flaps from tearing away from the mounts.

Today, we'll be taking a look at the Buyers Products mudflaps. These are going to be made of a heavy-duty polymer construction. So they have a nice thickness and stiffness to them to make it easier for them to withstand the road wind, so they're not going to fly up too much. With them being as long as they are, they might have a little bit of a bend in the wind, but really not too bad overall. There's sort of a textured side here. Then if we flip it over, it's more of a smooth texture or smooth finish. We'll have two mudflaps, one for either side of our vehicle or our trailer, whatever we're going to be mounting this up to.
These can withstand sub-freezing temperatures, so they'll work out well for the northern states or for the winter months. Any time that we have ice or snow, it's going to resist any buildup from those, so they'll work out pretty well. They also can withstand road salt and debris, take the impact from debris that we typically encounter on the road, bits of asphalt, chunks of gravel, things like that. That's going to keep our vehicle safe from any kinds of dent and dings that we would otherwise normally face. Yeah, and they're made of a nice polymer construction. With these, they're both about 1/8" thick, and then 36" long.
The one I have here is a little bit closer to 36 1/2" long, and then about 24" wide. The one I have here again is about 24 1/4". We'll have our four mounting holes up at the top. Those are spaced about 7" apart each. They're about 5/8" long and then about 1/2" wide.
These are also made in the USA.That's going to do it for our look at the Buyers Products mudflaps.
