Rockstar Mud Flaps

These fully customizable mud flaps protect your vehicle and what you tow from mud, rocks, and road debris. The versatile mats mount flush with your wheels or offset for increased coverage, and stabilizer brackets are included for improved tire clearance. The durable, composite rubber mats resist mud and ice buildup.

Composite Rubber Construction

Rockstar Mud Flaps rubber construction

The mud flaps are constructed of durable, 3/8" composite rubber that resists heat up 200 degrees and remains flexible at -40 degrees. They are also lightly textured on the surface to help reduce ice and mud buildup.

Flush or Offset Mounting Options

Rockstar Mud Flaps Sides

Before installing the mats you must determine if you want to use them in the flush or offset configuration. For flush mounting, install the mats with the straight edge to the outside of the vehicle. This aligns the edge of the mats with the outside of your wheel wells for a professional, factory look. For offset mounting, install the mats with the curved edge to the outside of the vehicle. In this configuration the mats will extend beyond the wheel wells to provide increased protection for your vehicle.

Easy Installation

Rockstar Mud Flaps Trim Plate

These mud flaps are easy to install using an angled screwdriver and the included hardware. You will need to determine the best location for each mud flap in your wheel wells. If they are too tall for your vehicle you can easily trim them with a utility knife. Use the included self-tapping screws to mount each mud flap to the metal backing on your wheel wells.

Stabilizing Brackets

Rockstar Mud Flaps Stabilizing Bracket

If you need extra clearance between the mud flaps and your tires you can use the included stabilizing brackets. Simply secure the mud flaps to the brackets using the included hardware, then use the self-tapping screws to mount the brackets to your wheel wells. If necessary, you can use pliers to shape the brackets to fit your wheel wells.

Video Transcript for Review of Access Mud Flaps - Front or Rear Ford Splash Guard Mud Flaps - AC64FR

Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the Rockstar Splash Guard Mud Flaps. These are going to be a really heavy duty solution to keep any kind of road debris, mud, rocks, and other things from getting kicked up underneath our vehicle. The nice thing about these is that you can use them for the front or the rear, so they're kind of customizable in that respect. They are a fit for the 2017 and on Ford F-350, that's going to be the Super Duty. That's with or without the dually wheels and with or without the add-on fender flares.

So you can kind of, again, customize how they're going to fit onto your vehicle. You might need to do a little bit of modifications. The first thing I noticed about these when I was getting them out of the box is that they are really thick and heavy. That's definitely a nice thing to see, especially to know that there's not going to be any worries about them being flimsy or not being able to be out on the road. But I did notice that the brackets don't all line up super well with the mud flaps themselves. So you might have to make a couple of new holes in here to get everything where it needs to go.

Not a huge deal, but just something I noticed. So let's take a closer look and talk about how this is going to install and some of the features of these flaps. So again, they are going to be a really nice, heavy duty construction. They are about 3/8" thick, so there's a little bit of a flex but pretty stiff overall. Even hanging in that from the edge there, it still maintains its shape really well. It's got those shiny chrome or aluminum trim plates at the bottom.

And the brackets up at the top, you can also flip these around either to be the shiny aluminum or over to be more of a matte black. So it's up to you, how you want that to look. For the brackets, it might be better if they're that matte black. It matches a little bit better with the mats themselves, so that's not going to stand out as much. But again, totally up to your choice.

The material that this has made of is a recycled composite rubber, so helps to resist any kind of buildup of ice. Also is really durable for any kind of heat. It can withstand up to 200 degrees of heat, and it still remains flexible even at negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Definitely heavy duty and should last you a long time in that respect. You can adjust how these sit on your trucks. So you can either have them offset and sitting a little bit out further than the fenders of your truck, or you can have them sitting nice and flush against the edge, is up to you. The mounting holes are offset. They kind of have that oblong design, so you can customize that as you want. But this is really the hole that I've noticed that doesn't really line up. All the other ones line up just fine, but the bracket is more in here, so you might just have to punch a new hole through there to get it to line up. Again, I don't think it's that big a deal, but it's just something I noticed with this one in particular. It does come with all the hardware you need to get it installed, and pretty decent instructions on how to do that.It does have some pictures, it's all black and white though. Should be pretty easy to follow along there. They are made in the USA. As far as the dimensions, each of our flaps are about 12" long and, going into the bottom-most portion, right at 20" tall. So that's going from the bottom edge there to the top edge here. Going from that bottom edge to the cutoff right here, it's about 14.25", just for reference. They are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. And that's about all there is to it for our quick look at the Rockstar Splash Guard Mud Flaps. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right pair for you. We do have a lot of accessories and parts for your vehicles here at etrailer.com, so check them out. Thanks for watching.
