Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a brief look at Thule's compression cube set. Now these compression packing cubes are designed to maximize packing space in most carry on luggage, while providing discrete organization. This set includes one small and one medium compression packing cube and the durable compression zipper is going to eliminate excess air between clothes to maximize packing space. And these zippers are YKK zippers for added durability. So let me go ahead and just give you a brief demonstration of how this works.

So I'm gonna open up the, this medium compression cube here. And as you can see, the lid opens very wide. So this is gonna be all open and accessible to put your clothes in. So the medium one would be better size for like jeans, leggings, and larger shirts. But all I really have here with me in my studio are some t-shirts.

So I've just kind of rolled them up a little bit and I'm just gonna fill out the cube as much as I can with these shirts. So I have four t-shirts in there and I'm gonna go ahead and close the lid. So that's what it's gonna look like closed, and then to compress it, I'm gonna then zip this section of this cube and that's, as you can see, that is closing it and compressing it. So it's pushing that air out and now we've got a nice compact medium sized cube, and it's pushed those shirts down to where it's gonna take up less space in your carryon bag. I've got just one shirt here.

This small bag is gonna be ideal for socks and undergarments and items like that. I just have one shirt here, have it rolled up. I'm gonna go ahead and zip it shut. And then I'm gonna go ahead and zip this panel shut, probably helps if I would zip the correct way. So let's zip this way.

So as you can see, that closes the cube, compresses what's inside, pushing that air out, and now it's nice and slim and trim, just like it's bigger brother here. As you can see, the semi transparent fabric is really great in helping you see what's inside, but then keeping items discrete. So at a glance, especially when you open up your bigger bag, you're gonna be able to be reminded and see what's in each cube. So again, this is gonna be perfectly, this is gonna be sized to perfectly fit most carryon luggage with some room left over for other things. Looking at the small bag, the expanded length is gonna be about 10 inches long, seven inches wide. And then when it's fully expanded, it's gonna be about four inches deep. I do have this compressed. So while it's compressed, the length and the width aren't gonna change, but the thickness or the depth is gonna be about an inch and a quarter. Now on the medium sized bag, it runs about 14 inches long, 10 inches wide. And when it's expanded, it's gonna be four inches deep. But again, this one is compressed. So the length and the width is gonna stay the same, but the depth when it's compressed, we're sitting about an inch and a quarter. Now the webbing handle that you see here is going to allow you to easily grab and then hang the cube while traveling. And again there, as you saw, they open up very wide for easy packing and they're durable. The blue sign approved 100 D ripstop nylon material is gonna minimize impact on the environment. It's water repellent, and it's gonna withstand years of use. So that's another nice thing about these cubes is, I think it's going to keep the items that you have in each cube dry since they are water repellent. All in all, I think this is a great idea. And if you're looking to make the most of like a, a carry on bag while traveling, do you wanna make the most use of that somewhat limited space, this would be a good option for you to consider.
