Video Transcript for Cruiser Tuf Combo License Plate Frame Installation - 2014 Ram 2500
Today, on our 2014 Ram Pickup 2500 Series, we're going to be installing the Cruiser Tuf Combo License Plate Frame and Clear Shield, Part Number CR62051. Now to attach the license plate frame to the front end of our particular vehicle, we're going to be using the Cruiser Locking Fasteners, Part Number CR81300, as well as the Cruiser Locking Fasteners, Part Number CR81200. This vehicle already has the Part Number CR81200 Locking Screws already installed on the license plate, so we'll use the key that comes with the kit. We'll have to first remove the license plate so we can add in our cover. Now with this particular kit, you get this style screws which is what threads into these little plastic inserts. Now on this vehicle, there is only 2 of them at the top which is why we're going to use the other style locking screws for the bottom. They're more of like a machine thread with a nylon lock nut that goes on the back side. Now here's our cover, and we're going to be using part number CR81300 for the lower half because there's no mounting location in the bumper.
We'll just use them and actually attach the plate to the cover. This right here has got the wider threads. This is the CR81200. It is designed to go into these little plastic inserts but the key that you use for both style screws is exactly the same. This little Allen wrench with this star style patter with the center drilled out. Now we can go ahead attach here to our front bumper.
Now that we've got it attached at our two mounting locations, see no one can gain access to your license plate tags, as well as it protects your plate itself. In addition to this shield being the clear color, it's also available in a smoke color, Part Number CR62052, as well as in tinted, Part Number CR60520. Now that we have our top 2 screws in and our license plate covers secured to the bumper, that will do it for our installation of the Cruise Tuf Combo License Plate Frame and Clear Shield, Part Number CR62051 on our 2014 Ram Pickup 2500 Series. .

Service was good. Decent delivery time. Plate shield was too small for plate. I bought this tinted shield for a standard size NYS license plate, and the shield was smaller than the license plate. I put all the correct information into the site regarding the type of plate and vehicle it was going on.

- Dimensions of Tuf Combo License Plate Frame CR62052I checked with the manufacturer and was able to get the exact dimensions for you of the Tuf Combo License Plate Frame and Smoke-Tinted Shield - Black # CR62052. They say this frame measures 12.3 inches long x 6.2 inches wide (in fractions that'd be just under 12-5/16" and just over 6-3/16"). To mount the # CR62052 you will need one of two kits; for import vehicles the Star Pin Locking Fasteners # CR81300, and for domestic vehicles the Star Pin Locking Fasteners # CR81200.
