Today we're going to be taking a look at part number AUT-POW-C. This is the POW/MIA flag trailer hitch cover for two-inch hitches. The unit's going to slide into your hitch receiver to help keep out dirt and prevent rust. It's also going to add a nice, clean, finished look to your hitch. We're going to have the black and white decal, that's going to be outlined in a chrome plated ABS plastic construction. Then on the internal part right here, we're going to have a nice vinyl coating, so that's going to protect the decal from chipping and fading.
It's going to protect it from water, chemicals, and UV rays. Now, that's going to sit on a polished stainless steel base. It's going to give a nice mirror-like shine. The base and the sleeve are going to be made from stainless steel, so that's going to be highly resistant towards rust and corrosion. We're going to have a nice, one-piece riveted construction, so now assembly required. It's ready to be installed in your hitch right out of the box.
The only thing that you're going to need to provide separately is going to be a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch pin and lock. You can see right here that it has three pin holes. This will receive a standard, five-eighth-inch pin and clip or pin and lock. Again, the unit's designed for two-inch by two-inch trailer hitch receivers. A few measurements we want to go over with your real quick, starting with the shank length. That's going to give us a measurement of three and a half inches.
Measuring to the center of that first pin hole from the back of that face plate, we're looking at one and eleven-sixteenths of an inch; to the center of the middle pin hole, we're looking at two and three-sixteenths of an inch. Into the center of the rear pin hole we're looking at two and eleven-sixteenths of an inch. The face plate is going to give us a diameter of four inches. The product is made in the USA, and it's going to be covered with a lifetime warranty. That's going to do it for today's look at part number AUT-POW-C.

I purchased this a year ago. The cutouts allow for multiple insert depths and optimal mounting variations. I was concerned about a vibration between the insert and receiver so I installed a rubber seal between the two that allowed for a firm connection and no rattles. No rust or fading (Midwest location) so it has been thru all of the seasons and salt looking good.
Excellent choice! Compliments my truck nicely. This is actually the second time I have bought this same hitch cover. You know it has to be good to buy it twice!

One wonders why all covers made for 1 1/4" with and adapter for 2" so there would be no need for 2 sizes. I attached it to my E Trailer hitch on my Corvette. Yes a tow hitch on a Corvette for bike rack.
This is the second time I have purchased a trailer hitch from this company. I only had to replace this product because I was rear ended a few weeks ago by another driver. The tow bar took all the damage and while it had to be replaced, it protected the back of my jeep from further impact.

I had a cheap rubber cover but it either blew off in the wash or got stolen. With a locking pin this one should stay put. Makes a nice little enhancement to my vehicle and shows pride in having served our country. Glad it arrived in time for display this "Veterans Day".
