Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to take a quick look at the clip removal pliers. These are going to help you to get into any kind of upholstery in your vehicle, or really anywhere that it has a kind of push to connect fastener. So I have a little tack that I just kind of hammered into the top of my table and we'll see how well this can take it out. I actually ended up breaking off the top of this. So it's kind of necessary for me to actually use this.

The nice thing about it is that it does have a pretty nicely made channel to get underneath and in between your clips to make sure that you can release those easily and that it's still going to hold that material down. So as you pull up, it's going to keep that center stable so you can lift it and remove any kind of clips that are holding something down.So just as kind of an example, I'm going to show you how it works with this little tack that I nailed in here. So you can get underneath it and we got plenty of space to get in there. It just lifts and since it's spring loaded, it does come right back, so you've got a little bit of resistance to help you lift that up. All in all I think this should be a pretty easy to use tool.

Definitely something handy for doing anything where getting in to the panels of your vehicle or anywhere that you might be having to take up upholstery or any other kind of trim pieces. You can just really make your life a lot easier. That tip is pretty nice and slim, so it can fit into a lot of spaces that are really tight and get in there and pry up on those clips to remove them. Again, that channel is tapered, so it should get around just about anything that we might be putting in into.That's pretty much it for our look at the clip removal pliers with spring loaded handle, it does feel pretty comfortable in the hands. So again, I think it should be a pretty easy to use tool.
