I'm Matt with Etrailer. If you got a 2023 GMC Yukon XL and you have a lot of kids and they track a lot of dirt in your vehicle and you wanna try to keep things a lot cleaner, then the WeatherTech third row floor mats are gonna be a great option for you. So let's check 'em out. What's great about this is most Yukons don't come with any floor mats in the third row, like your second row. So having some protection back here is gonna be great because a lot of times when kids are going outside, they're playing, they're getting in some dirt, snow, water, all types of stuff. You're probably gonna wanna try to keep a lot of that out.
And this mats gonna do a great job at doing that because it's not only gonna help protect this back area, but also the area in between your two second row seats. And really going off of that, what I like about this is the way this is contoured, the fit inside our vehicle is very a custom fit. As you can see, we're going right around our seats, but we're not blocking anything or impeding their movement. And we even get a little bit of these sidewalls. These sidewalls are gonna help catch and keep any debris on this mat.
What I really do like too, is there's gonna be a spot that goes underneath our second row seating and that's gonna protect this too 'cause a lot of times people will like to put their feet underneath here and a lot of dirt and grime can get underneath your seats. And looking at the backside, you notice we even have a higher sidewall. That's where a lot of your heels are gonna be sitting and it's gonna help prevent a lot of that grime from getting underneath here. What's also gonna help keep your feet clean is gonna be these areas that are raised, that's gonna help keep your feet from getting that dirt, grime back on your shoes. I've talked a lot about how this is gonna prevent any debris from getting inside your vehicle, but at some point you are gonna have to clean these.
And when you do, I recommend trying to vacuum or get it some of that debris off first, if there's a lot of it. Or if you have these spills, wipe it up with a paper towel or a rag, and that's gonna make this process a lot easier. Now when you do go to take it out, it is gonna be kind of difficult because these are pretty flexible and they're pretty big. While they are really good at giving that full coverage, they're kind of difficult to get out. So I'll show you what I mean, I'm gonna step in here.
Now, I'm gonna try to remove this and treat this like if I had anything in here. I just wanna walk over to the other side, prep this up. And you can see way underneath there, where we're getting that great coverage, is kind of hard to get out. And you can see if you had any or a lot of debris on here, that's gonna fall right out of here. But once you get it to this point and hold it like this, then this might be one of your best options to do like this. And then just try to shape that excess out. That's the nice thing about the Yukon being kind of big. You can kind of walk up in there like that and shake it out, wipe it off with a rag, hose it down, and then let it dry out. And then you can put it in there as good as new. And part of what was making it hard to get out too is gonna be these nibs on the back. These are great for helping it stay in place so it doesn't slide around, but when you have to take it out, it can be kind of difficult to do. But personally, I really like them for not sliding around. What I also like about this is how flexible it is. As you can see, this moves around pretty easy. It's not gonna fight you too much. And that's great for kids too because some floor mats are kind of rigid and if a kid is getting in there, they're usually not really caring where their feet are sitting. And what's gonna happen is their foot's gonna rest and sit on this and it's gonna learn its shape. Now with this type of material, since it is more flexible, it's gonna be less likely to learn that bad habit of a shape. But that was just a look at the WeatherTech third row custom floor mats in our 2023 GMC Yukon XL. I'm Matt, thanks for watching.

I have used Weather Tech floor mats in all of my vehicles. Keeps the interior really clean and protects the carpet.
Great floor mats and they fit super tight in the floor area.
This is my second set of these floor mats (new car). They are a great fit, tough, and deep enough to collect all the snow that are on my boots. Can't go wrong with them.
High quality floor mats
This is the 4th set of Weather Tech floor mats we have used in different cars and truck. The fit is always great, and they hold up very well.
The floor mats are a disappointment. They are too big and just don’t fit right. I removed the factory mats, but the only way they might possibly fit is if I remove all factory carpeting. I’m not going to do that. The hold down anchors are also in the wrong spots, none of the four anchors line up. They are not worth the price.
The mats fit perfectly and as usual are of high quality. I have never had a problem with anything I have purchased from e trailer.

Was dissapponted that these do not have the weather teck emblem , just a molded in logo, seems cheap for a very expensive mat
The floor mats ordered for my Ram have worked great. They have contained all the messes, and spills inside the floor mat. Excellent buy.
Etrailer did a great job getting us just what we ordered.
HOWEVER, feedback to weather tech... we were looking for something that could cover up the metal latches on the floor in the back of the Jeep, bc my dog sits back there. This doesn't do what i needed it to do.
We may get a super cheap, cut out mat or a yoga mat for him.
I think he may have cut himself on one of the metal hooks. They are there for the storage bay, which we took out to make room for - guess who, ... the dog, LEVI!

I have always purchased the floor liners however I decided to try the 3d floor mats for my new truck. These are every bit as good as the liners in my opinion. They provide extra coverage over the door sills and are more pliable as well. The Weathertech name is imprinted on the mat instead of the label on the floorliners which will over time lose the adhesive backing and become dislodged with the heel of your shoes. Unfortunately I've had this experience with the floorliners, while not affecting its performance, it can be unattractive with glue residue left behind. I've always let the liners or mats sit out of the box at room temperature for 24 hours then install with perfect fitment every time. If you're on the fence about these mats give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Fit will and looks good!
They fit great. Do trim them so they don’t get caught by the lower edge of the door and curl them up. Just noticed that there was trim instructions on the bottom of the mat. Now they fit great.
The mats worked great and were easy to install. They were very form fitting and looked great.
