Hi, Matt with etrailer and today we're gonna be talking about the ARIES Cargo Protector in the back of our 2023 Kia Sportage. Now this is gonna be a great option for you if you're looking at trying to keep the back of your car clean, especially if you have a lot of tools you wanna throw in the back that get pretty dirty or if you wanna store a cooler in the back that might leak some. So let's take a closer look at how it fits in here. Now this protector is gonna be able to cover a majority of your cargo area. If you look on the sides, it is falling over in some spots and that's just because it is gonna be very flexible, but it's gonna be able to protect even these spots too that have these indentions. All you have to do is maneuver it some, you can even cover those spots too.
As for the very edge where our bumper is, that's gonna be covered too if you want it to be. So that's gonna give you the option maybe you are loading up some gear in here and you're worried about scuffing up the edge. This is gonna protect that while you put those items back here. Now I will say this is prone the folding over like I showed you earlier. So if you have something back here that's knocking anything down, or if you have pets that you wanna keep the back clean and those pets are kind of digging that stuff, they can kind of pull this forward some.
Now something I do like about the size of this protector is if you put the front seats down, if you need that extra storage, this does cover a majority of this area and I'm fine with having this excess on the side because that's just gonna help protect anything or prevent anything from falling between here. Now, earlier I said this is gonna be a great option for you to put your tools on top of, and that's gonna be because we have this very durable polyester, it's gonna be very resistant to scratching or tearing. And underneath we're gonna have this texturized rubber and that's gonna be great for, like I said earlier, if you have any coolers prone to leaking or anything else that might have some spillage to it. And that texturized bottom helps hold this in place, preventing it from sliding a lot. And what's really nice about it is when you're cleaning it, it's pretty easy to do.
All you have to do is just take a wet rag to it and wipe it down, or you can even use a washer. What I don't recommend is putting it in the dryer 'cause that heat can damage it. And it's also gonna be great too if you want to go on a picnic or anything else like that. That's nice that it has multiple uses. And what's really nice is what I'm doing right now is just folding it up, making it really compact to store.
So when I'm done with it, and I don't want to use it for the time being, I can just put it in my cargo storage. Overall though, I think this is gonna be a solid choice if you are trying to protect the back of your car from anything bulky or prone the scratching or any spillage too. Now if you do have pets, I'd actually recommend the etrailer cargo protector 'cause the way that's gonna work is it's gonna hook onto your back seats, so it's gonna be less likely you'll be pulled or moved aside. But if you're not really planning on using this with pets, then I think this is gonna be a great option for you. I would like a refund.
This falsly advertised that it was made to fit my 2016 chevy. It just drapes over. The head rest pieces are trash dont fit at all. The seatbelts dont fit through the holes. it's basically garbage. i cant use it.
Works great, not as easy to install as the video. I installed this on a 2024 Subaru Outback which has 3 headrests
Durable, fits perfectly, and looks great after one year of use. We fish year round and often travel while wet and wearing sunscreen. Additionally, they are very comfortable throughout the summer and winter. They are quickly installed or removed and that makes this an outstanding choice for protecting your seats.

I ordered these seat covers because I just bought a new car and I have four dogs--and of those, one who is not yet potty trained. I did some research online looking specifically for dog-proof covers. I used to have the Kurgo seat covers made for dogs, but they were not pee-proof and they fell apart quickly.
I just received my seat defender bucket seat covers and I think they are going to work out great. The rubber backing really sticks to the seat, so you don't have to wrestle with a lot of straps. They are only fitted around the headrest, which is perfect if you have a newer car with the side airbags. However, if you want them to LOOK fitted all around, that is not what you are going to get.
The material is super heavy and with the rubber backing I think my cloth seats are going to have all the dog protection they need.

I'm in heaven! My big white dog loves to keep me company in the car but the white fur! Everywhere! I tried sheets, blankets, and several other car seat covers. They wouldn't stay up & no way to anchor on my Sentra's back seat headrests. This product is perfect! Covers the whole seat, stays put, and easy to put on. My doggy best friend is on the road again.

I really wanted to like this seat, cover and have it work for us, but there is no way to keep it secured to the seat and that is a big problem. We will have to return it and keep looking.

Super excited to get more use out of this! Not long after I "installed" it, I let my 2-year old rummage around in the truck. Climbing over the console, roughing up the seat cover. The Aries Seat Defender didn't budge. I love that it wraps around the headrest and the "shoulders" of the bucket seat, adding extra grip. The 600-D fabric is almost like getting Carhartt for a fraction of the price.
As an added bonus, the dark black color of the fabric through the window adds the illusion that I've tinted my windows.
Exactly what I was looking for and seems durable. The seat protector goes on and off easily for machine washing.
I purchased these covers for my 2015 F350 ranch rig with driver side seat starting to tear. I like the appearance of the covers and they feel plenty stout and look good. The only thing I wish they had is some way to attach the bottom part to the seat. By design, they just hang free off the edge of seat where your legs are. The only way it stays on the seat is by the 'hood' that goes over the head cushion on the seat. I love etrailer.com, though. Solid company with folks that care!

Only had for one day but very impressed. Quality of material seems tough enough to withstand a lot of use, and still be comfortable,backing grips seat very well and doesn't follow you out the door and stays pretty well in place
The cover works very well. My pup had to get used to the type of fabric vs the leather seats but that was a quick resolve. I do not use the headrest covers (do not see the point). The cover stays in place very well and is easy to clean. The only difficulty I have is trying fold down the seat to get access behind the split 2nd row seat.
I bought this cover to use in my daily driver car that just got new leather upholstery. Since I work on cars for a living, my clothes are often more dirty than I would like, so I keep this cover on the driver's seat, and take it off for going to nicer places. I have also gotten one for my truck, since it has nice seat covers on it, and I want to keep them clean as well. These covers stay in place nicely and mostly do the job they are meant to do. I only wish they came in more shades to go with more interiors, and I also wish they had a provision for fitting around seatbelts that are part of the seat, like my truck has. But overall, these covers are a very good value!

We have the seat cover in a 2015 Impala with leather seats. It has done an excellent job protecting the seat from dirt and spills. We also have a very active German Wirehair Pointer puppy. The cover has protected the seat from his antics.
