Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com Today we're gonna take a look at the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit with the gloss black base rails for the Toyota Tundra trucks. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 and newer Toyota Tundra trucks with the six and a half foot bed, excluding the crew cab models. And on a custom fit part like this one, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now this kit here is a complete installation kit, allows you to install a fifth wheel to your truck bed. The kit will include everything shown here on the table.

It includes the custom fits mounting brackets here on the side. Your base rails comes with all the hardware you need for installation. This application even includes an extra bracket for your electrical blocks. And then you have your instructions here, which are detailed instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. Now these custom fit brackets here on the side, I wanted to zoom in on those, but those are custom fit.

They'll mount beneath your truck bed and they provide the attachment points, as you can see, for your fifth wheel rails. They do have a black powder coat finish on 'em to resist corrosion. And what's nice about 'em, you'll see they have holes drilled in it. They provide a custom fit by mounting to the existing holes that are on your vehicle's frame. So you can see these holes will line up on your vehicle's holes, and this will minimize the amount of drilling that's required.

So it does cut the installation time in half when compared with universal bracket kits. The base rails, that's these right here, these base rails are what'll sit in your truck bed. They allow the installation of your fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle, and these rails will be visible in your truck bed. If you notice, these rails have a nice gloss black finish to 'em to match your color of your fifth wheel hitch. And these are industry standard rails that are compatible with B & W Curt Draw Tite Grease and Husky Above Bed Fifth wheel Trailer Hitches.
