What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna checking out this water resistant pouch from Coghlan. Now this is going to be the smaller one, this is gonna be five inches wide, and seven inches long. And I got my wallet in there right now, just to show you what it looks like with something in there. It wasn't quite tall enough to fit my phone in there, it was a little bit taller because you're going to need the top to fold down. Now I've also worked with their dry bags, and they have the same kind of system.

You got to hook and loop here at the top. So let me peel that apart. And then you unroll one of the sides, and that's how you can open up this pouch. So now this, is we're going to put stuff in to the pouch, like there. I can pull my wallet back out.

Gonna put it back in. Put it in that same spot, and now I'll show you why that's kind of cool, the way it folds over on itself. So it's not just like hook and loop at the top, like a Ziploc bag or something like that, I know that's not hook and loop, but you know, you don't just seal at the top and you'd be done here, that's not going to be water resistant at all. So how this works is, you're actually going to pull down this plastic part here. Actually, let's take a closer look at it here.

Let's come in here, so you can actually see what I'm talking about. So this kind of side profile view is probably a better look at it. You fold that you fold that down on itself, and kind of just roll the one piece of hook and loop back, and then you can just seal it up just like that. So if water is to hit this, I've actually sprayed down the driveway, I used with water, with a water hose, and it got all wet here. But since that's folded over, rolled in itself, it's not going to let any water on the inside.

So whatever you put it in here, you can be sure that it's safe from getting wet with water. So that's pretty nice. I really liked that style. The top at first it was a little confusing, when you go to use you're like, why am I rolling it back But then once you spray down with water and kind of put two and two together, it's like, oh, that's actually pretty sweet. So it folds up, keeps that water from getting in there. And that's why it's a water resistant pouch. It's gonna be really helpful for your kayaking or any water sports. You do stand up paddle board, maybe just go on a float trip. You just want to keep your stuff dry. Usually your very important stuff. So if you're, you know, got a passport, and a wallet you can keep all that, your keys, here in this water resistant pouch. That way you don't have to worry about it anymore.
