Installation

This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, near your spare tire on the driver's side.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

  • Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2020 Ford F-350 without Trailer Wiring
You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # HM11140755. Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure. • Recommended 5th Wheel Wiring Harness and Base Rails for a 2022 Ford F-350
Hey Tim, the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56001-53 you mention is actually not going to work with your 2022 Ford F-250. Instead, you're going to have to use the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches # DM8552031-71 which will work with both your F-250 and your Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider # RP30051. Also, for the wiring harness the Bargman...

  • Recommended 5th Wheel Wiring Harness for 2022 F-350 Diesel
I reached out to Curt and found that the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C56070 has the same connectors as the # C57010 which is confirmed to fit the 2022 Ford F-350 with factory 7-way. This means that the # C56070 will also fit if you have a factory 7-way. However, you would want to use the # C57008 instead since it comes with the rubber well nuts that separate the stainless steel bolts from your aluminum truck bed to help prevent galvanic corrosion. Since it sounds like...

  • Where to Find 7-Way Wiring for Adding Gooseneck/5th Wheel Extension on a 2013 Ford F-250
Hey Steve, thanks for reaching out! The Bargman Wiring # 54700-003 will tee in behind the 7-Way socket at the back of your 2013 Ford F-250 Super Duty. This is the 7-Way you'd currently plug your gooseneck/5th wheel trailer wiring into. If your truck doesn't have a 7-Way then you'll need the Hopkins Wiring # HM11140755 along with the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 to get all of the functions you're needing to use the Bargman.

  • Wiring Recommendation to Fit with Lance 6-Way Connector on 2016 Ford F-250
If your 2016 Ford F-250 doesn't already have a factory trailer connector then the Hopkins # HM11140755 is what you need. This plugs into a factory port underneath your truck and then you'll cut off the 4-Way and splice it into that Lance 6-Way connector. The wires are labeled so you just need to match the functions. If you do have the factory trailer connector then the Pollak # PK11893-11932 is a great alternative because it tees in behind your factory 7-Way and gives you all of the functions...

  • Troubleshooting 4-Pole Running Light Circuit on 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty
I suspect the issue with the running light circuit on your 4-pole trailer wiring setup is either related to internal damage or corrosion of the connector. Since your truck headlights still work we know that circuit is active. Unless you can find a blown fuse for 'parking lights' or 'running/tail lights' in the power box I would suspect the connector, especially since it is permanently located outside the truck where it is exposed to the elements. Corrosion can build up inside a connector...
